This is actually the second light I've purchased from this company. The first one was a couple of years ago and was Christmas light related...blue, green, red, etc. I have had it on four hours a day, everyday for over two years now and it still going strong. It's a great marker as it's on our front gate and drive area...so you can see it from a distance and it really lights up the drive. This second one was to continue the drive lighting further and it's on the ground. I will be planning on getting another one or two for just under the house eve's soon. These are super great and I am really pleased with the brightness and the fact that they last for a long time. I lived in California's Central Valley where we get extreme heat 4 months out of the year at least 31+ days of 100+ and then very cold temperatures in the winter. Something about the temperature here and possibly all the crap in the air, but it is brutal on plastics, outdoor lighting, etc. So the mere fact these continue to work is a great sign of quality to me.This is an update to my previous review. It is April16th, 2024. The multi-colored lights I purchased in 2021 are now virtually dead. As I said in my previous post of 2023, they are on a timer that has them on 4 hours a day, every day of the year. They have exceeded my expectations and I will be buying another one soon. But just wanted to let everyone know, they have been a good purchase. You know what they say, you get what you pay for. I am pleased with these and highly recommend.

Very nice until we had to cut them. We could not get them to match up to the end pieces provided. My husband and my son are both knowledgeable of electrical wiring and even they couldn't get them to match up. Twice the end sizzled and melted when the wires touched wrong. Needless to say we've wasted several feet of lighting try to do this...the rest of the reel is just sitttibg in our garage.
