A page turner - very interesting and readable
I love modern history - the stories behind the headlines - and this is fascinating

Zimbabwe, Mugabe, and the Crocodile
Fascinating account of politics and forces in Zimbabwe that led to the ouster of Mugabe. Harsh background to the current disaster now facing the Zimbabwean people.

A brilliant account of some amazing events
I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in magical Zimbabwe. As Rogers says “if Zimbabwe’s politicians spent their time, energy and intellect producing functional institutions, instead of pursuing personal power, Zimbabwe could be the envy of Africa.”As someone brought up there, I long for the day that greed and the search for power could retired in favour of realising the massive potential of Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans. I do hope that perhaps my nephews, nieces and their children might live to see it.

Fact stranger than fiction
A fascinating book of the “coup which wasn’t a coup” in Zimbabwe that unseated Robert Mugabe. Well written and totally absorbing. I couldn’t put it down.
