Buying school items from the school bookstore can be quite expensive. I purchased this mug for my husband when our son was accepted into Syracuse University, and he loves it. Excellent quality. The handle is big enough for his hand to hold it comfortably. Washes well in the dishwasher. Great gift idea and the price was right!

I didn't realize that this mug was hand wash only. That was my fault. I decided to run it through the dishwasher anyway because if I was going to use it, it had to go through the dishwasher. I take full responsibility for doing this. I could have returned the mug, but I made the choice to test it instead. I sent it through in the top rack on my normal wash cycle. When I took it out, the color of the monogram had bled. I'm not sure if all the color will eventually bleed off or if it's just the top layer of pigment. If you are going to buy this mug, heed the instructions and hand wash only.
