Penny Dreadful Spell Book Journal - Convention Exclusive

Absolutely fantastic journal and it's likeness to the spell book/prop in the show is uncanny! The embossed front & back covers are lovely and beg one to run fingers over it constantly, so sumptuous is the texture. It has a fabulous feel of authenticity to it and seems very well made. The pages have a wonderful array of arcane patterns "watermarking" them & each page has a rather odd, semi-glossy texture. I may not be able to bring myself to write on them. Instead, I may print my entries out on parchment, burn the edges and then insert them between the journal's pages. In conclusion, I am very happy I purchased this and would recommend it highly to other collectors.

I just received this item today (maybe less than two hours ago. As I was thumbing through to admire the illustrations, pages started to separate from the binding and fall out. I was so excited to receive this and now I am just sad that I won't be able to use it.

Really nice quality. Heavy, not cheap.
