Rainbow Dust Edible Glue - 50ml

This is the first time I have bought this sugar glue and it will definitely be the last. It is very thin for a glue makes the icing soggy to the extent things actually slide off the cake. On tasting it myself it tastes of diluted lemon juice. My advice is don’t bother buying this product it’s not worth it. Water would work just as well as this product !

Really great edible glue. Needed it to stick wafer paper to fondant and then the fondant to biscuits, 180 individual biscuits. Used about a quarter of it so it really will last a long time. Read the other reviews about using it sparingly as it can make wafer paper melt. Did have some sort of artificial glue smell but tasted of nothing.

Takes a little while to dry but it works really well. Used to stick wafer paper flowers and butterflies to a cake, it doesn't make them go soggy and seems to dry quite hard, so the flowers were nice and secure, even 2 days later. I didn't have a clean paintbrush to hand so I used a cocktail stick to put the glue on. It doesn't take much to get a good set and you have a couple of minutes before it dries to readjust the position of the item being stuck. Handy item to have around and very effective.

I'm a novice baker and this was my second time working with fondant icing, the first time I bought off the shelf baking glue from the supermarket and it wasn't very good. I was really concerned this would be the same, but was pleasantly surprised. It worked really well and held the pieces of icing in place. It was clear and didn't notice any taste from it. I'd definitely buy again.

I bought this to stick chocolate to chocolate. It did not work. I thought it might have been the weight, so attempted to use it again for edible paper... It still did not work. I'm not sure what the point of glue that doesn't stick to anything is.
