These are really good. It tastes like vanilla frosting. Easy to get it down. I am a T1 diabetic so I am using this to treat low blood glucose. I also like that the packet has a little tab on it so when you tear the top off, there is no little sticky piece that you have to throw away. Very clever. And, its thick, not drippy. I was using another brand but the price became astronomical, and it was also thinner, so occasionally I would end up with a sticky mess in whatever I was carrying it in. I used to use glucose tablets and I ended up paying about $20,000 in dental work. That stuff ruins you teeth and sticks to your teeth. This does not stick to your teeth. Much better. Only wish the price was bit less. They are about a buck a piece. Reasonable.

CLIF has always made wonderful products we have stood by these products for ten plus years. My husband and I are avid marathon runners and these products have helped us survived over 400 miles of running! we will never use another brand. The flavor availability is always a fun choice but these vanilla are by far my favorite. The flavor glides down easily and the flavor states like vanilla icing. Very easy to swallow and i love the trash saver piece so you don't litter! thanks for being environmentally friendly clif!! we will always order from you. The packs are small and 6 of them fit in each of our running belts. The fpoduct packaging does not fall apart if you run in the rain nor does it tare. The package is high quality and thick so not to make a mess while you run inside a backpack or running belt.

The flavors of Clif Shots are the best I’ve tried. The consistency is much better, too. Vanilla and any of the chocolate varieties taste great. I think they give me extra energy to finish a long run - I usually eat it after about 1 hour into my run.

Flavor is great and makes proper hydration less of a chore while enjoying my longer desert bike rides. Viva Las Vegas!

Good taste. I like all of the Clif gel flavors I have tried. My wife especially likes this one. The connected tab is genius too. No losing the tear off on the ground. The price is also good compared to many other gel products.

I have tried many different kinds of gels and they are always too sweet and the tastes have been awful. However, I am in love with the vanilla Clif Shot Gels! After running a Disney Marathon where they handed these out during the race I hesitated but knew I needed the fuel. I was very shocked and pleased at the same time. I went on Amazon and bought a box of these right away. The flavor is pleasant and you will feel energized and ready to finish that race no matter the distance!

I’ve tried MANY different gels over the years. This is a great flavor and the price point is attractive.My issue is how thick the gel is. When racing and your heart rate is bouncing off the redline and your breathing at near maximum this gel is difficult to swallow.During training great cheap option. During a race I tend to prefer Maurten, Huma, Spring and Honey Stinger as they’re all an easier gel to swollow.

The taste of this gel is pleasant enough, and most of the ingredients are natural organic, but a 'natural flavor' is used for the vanilla instead of an extract. It does not contain any caffeine yet provides a palpable boost of energy almost immediately when consumed. It's wrapped in an easy to open container, with a built in 'litter leash' for easy disposal without leaving an eyesore. Another good product from clifbar.
