I'm super thankful Neewer sold these, the one that came with my Neewer rig was only 1kg, and due to the Nikon P1000 being so heavy with the glass in the lens I had to support the entire rig with my arms and shoulder muscles, which was painful.Super thankful the blue model of this came back into stock so it matched my rig. Hopefully the 2kg combined weight will balance out the camera, but if not I can use the other 1kg weight on the rig as well.Neewer, thank you so much for your products, they are a huge help at getting my own studio and production company started.

Don't even think about buying the Newer (or any 15mm rod shoulder mount system for that matter) shoulder rig without getting these weights. These when properly balanced will decrease vertical shake on your camera. It'll start to look like an indie film.

What a difference this made once I put the weights on. If you have a shoulder rig, I recommend, with this price, to purchase this. They are for a 15mm rod kit. It takes the load off of your forearms and spreads it across the you whole body.

Weight of about 5 pounds, I used it for balancing my rig. I have to say that it really makes my photography more convenient. It is made of aluminum alloy, so it is strong and very stable. Installation is quick and easy, I highly recommend it to people with shoulder rig.

Nice counter weight for my shoulder rig. Does just what I need it to do - be heavy in just the right place. Really helps keep the rig sturdy.

Not much to say about a weight attachment. Acts as a great counterweight and can even be stacked with additional weight if needed. Connects easily and holds tight. That's good enough for me!

This kind of widget is easy to lose, so I like to buy more as a spare. Help your heavy equipment find balance on your shoulders

I'm a big fan of neewer and own a lot of their products but these weights are poorly made. I ordered two, and neither of the mounts will attach securely to my rods as the screws just don't bite - regardless of whether or not you use a washer. I'm trying to find another way to attach the weights as I simply cannot trust the mounts to not fall off (and injure whomever is holding the rig!).

Excellent Neewer quality - just what I wanted to balance my camcorder rig

Das Produkt wurde gewoht schnell geliefert. Als ich das bestellte Rig Gewicht auspackte war die Freude schnell verflogen. Die 2 Gewichte in Form einer Scheibe waren massiv verkratzt. Dies ist ärgerlich und noch kein total Ausfall aber es wird noch schlimmer. Die 15mm Aufnahme, mit den Schnellverschlüssen, für das Gewicht an dem Rig zu befestigen, waren auf einer Seite so stark eingekerbt, als ob mit einem Meisel drauf geschlagen wurde, dass der Innendurchmesser sich an der besagten Stelle auf ~ 12-13mm verkleinert hat. Durch diese Nase bzw. Kerbe des gestauchten Metalls ist es nicht mehr möglich das Produkt an einem Rig zu befestigen. Daher ist es nutzlos. Hier muss man selbt nacharbeiten und hat am Ende ein unschönes Produkt durch die Produktionsfehler und schlechte Verarbeitung.Fazit: Minderwertige Qualität. Eine Rücksendung auf meine Kosten von 8€ lohnt sich nicht, bei dem Warenwert 22€. Nie wieder.

Ein Gegengewicht am Schulterstativ macht den Einsatz desselben sehr viel einfacher und angenehmer, besonders mit einer DSLR plus großem Objektiv am anderen Ende.Dieses Gegengewicht tut das was es soll, es ist schwer. Dabei macht es aber auch einen durchaus robusten und wertigen Eindruck, die Schnellverschlüsse sind sinnvoll gesetzt und gut zu bedienen, sie lassen sich per Hand schon ausreichend festziehen, wer ganz auf Nummer Sicher gehen will, bekommt sie mit einem Sechskantschlüssel bombenfest.Die angebrachten Gewichte lassen sich teilen, sodass sowohl leichtere als auch schwerere Kameramodelle ausgeglichen werden können. Etwas kleinschrittigere Gewichte, dafür mehr, wären nett gewesen, bei dem Preis aber total in Ordnung. Außerdem lässt sich mit den vorhandenen Möglichkeiten und ein wenig Verschieben des Gewichts das meiste sehr gut ausgleichen.

Also ich suchte nach einem passenden Gegengewicht für meinen Hubble-Optics Dobson.Und hier wurde ich fündig. Ich musste bloß die Querstange abschrauben und das Gewicht mit einerM6 Schraube am hinteren Teil des Spiegelträgers festschrauben.Fertig. Passt perfekt, so als ob es dafür gemacht sei.
