Worth the cost
We bought these with the thought that if it worked great and if they didn't then we weren't out that much. The cost seemed a little high but when you think of the design work and that these are not like ordinary utensils and are made in limited numbers then it makes sense. These have definitely made a difference. The design of the spoons are exactly what was needed and the bowls help with getting the food on the spoons. We have tried some other spoons but they don't have the same quality and they were basically bent so that you had to use either a left or right spoon. These work well with either hand.

I think these work pretty well. I don’t know why it doesn’t come ...
We just moved in my mo who has advance dementia.I think these work pretty well. I don’t know why it doesn’t come with a fork.. my least favorite thing about it has got to be the price.

Buy these now! Don't wait.
My only regret is that I did not buy these for my father sooner! They are great. He is very happy with them and took to using them very easily. He especially loves the mug with the large handle. So far he isn't super thrilled with the spoons, but I like them for when I assist in feeding him. Would love to have a similar type fork as well and the option of buying additional mugs or all the pieces individually. They would be fabulous for kids too.

Mom with Alzheimer's Loves Eatwell Bowl: It was a life changer for us!
My mom with Alzheiemr's lives with us and we are *so thankful* to have found EatWell. I first learned about this company through an online support group. Although it was a little expensive for us, we purchased two full sets - red and yellow. My mom's favorite seems to be the red bowl which we use on a daily basis for her breakfast. The best part about it is the bottom slope, it is much easier to her to eat and we have a lot less spillage. These bowls were a life changer and have keep her eating independently (without our support). The red color is shown by research to inspire appetite. I really appreciate that someone is thinking about how to help us help my mom. This disease is a long hard journey and it means a lot to me that someone out there is thinking about those going through this, doing the research, and designing products that make such a huge difference. Thank you. Well done!

Good Design That Helps Everyone Eat Better!
The design of the Eatwell Tableware set is really well-thought-out. I originally got it on Indiegogo for my elderly mother who was weakened by an ischemic stroke. The spoon handle combined with angled bowl and plate edges help her scoop up food with ease, even with a shaky, weakened hand. The wide, non-slip cup base also helps prevent spills too when she doesn't put it back down perfectly level. Why aren't all cups made this way? After trying the set myself, I've come to the conclusion that it actually helps anyone eat better, not just those with impairments. I can see small children using this set too. It's a good investment because it's something that will be used multiple times, every single day, for many years to come.
