So I bought this May 2022. I must say that these are fine to use for someone that does t have very curly hair. It did the job and I was trying to love them. While on vacation, they decided to quit working. Not even one year later they are shot. So you be the judge of it. I now have to go and spend on a new one.

I was super skeptical about buying outside of a Chi product. My sister is a hairdresser and always warned me not to buy anything but Chi Iron because I have so much thick hair. I bought this straightener anyways and I had to say it is the best purchase I’ve made in 2023. That only does it straighten your hair but it creates beautiful curls in one is super convenient and my sister the hairdresser uses it on her own hair, so if you’re looking for a well-made product for thick hair by the straightener!

Not the biggest fan.. It pulls my hair a little bit.. Vut it’s a good travel straightener I would say!

This is a great tool for this price point. It’s a substantial size in both length and diameter. The heating plates “float” so your hair isn’t getting pinched and torn. It also has an infrared lamp built in that can be turned on or off. It’s located inside the barrel way down past the heat plates. You’ll want to access this before the iron heats up. There’s also a negative ion emission hole and an indicator light. The cord is a 360 swivel cord, which is absolutely fantastic for maneuvering and it’s thick at base to eliminate breaks and cracks. The controls are simple. The temps are printed onto the base with lighted indicators. The iron turns on and off with a twist of the handle.This works incredibly fast to give you a smooth finish. You really get a great result with. A single pass. You can also wrap your hair around the barrel. As you slide the hair through the heated plates you get a nice wave effect that doesn’t have folds because the barrel exterior is rounded.It heats up very quickly and when it’s cooled can be wiped clean of any hair product.This machine is equivalent to some high end products due to all of the features. It’s a perfect tool to get both the smooth look or waves in a single tool.

I purched this and have used it a couple of times now to form my opinion. I already have straight hair, I just need it to help with those last little waves I get with my hair that frames around my face and to minimize with the frizzy hair texture. I was not impressed by the least. Visually it looks really nice but doesn't really bring the heat up like it's supposed to (in my opinion) I will be returning this to get another product that might work better for me.

Omg. This works magic on my hair whenever I use it i have natural thick hair and when I use this flat iron omg it leaves my hair so soft without even maximizes its temperature

I returned it as it didn't work the way i thought it would.
