Not a lot time to sit and read; even though I’m working on more me time.As I’m driving into work on Thursday morning, listening to you share about our six year old selfs. I realized that I’m the same big dreamer, party loving, just do six year little girl at 53. A quick and enjoyable read. I saw it as a nice conversation with a friend trying to provide you motivation. If you are looking for some light and positive words, then you will enjoy it. Much like Dominique’s Youtube videos it was upbeat and cheerful. I did feel it lacked a bit of relatability. I don’t think you can dismiss that she was born with a lot more gifts and blessings than the average Joe, so it may not be deep enough for those who really need more than a casual motivational conversation to get themselves unstuck. It isn’t a rags to riches story with a lot of battles to overcome. It is more of a story about little reminders of things we can all do to tweak the trajectory of our otherwise pretty good life.

I just started reading the book. I follow Dominique & was just needing an encouragement and reminder to care for myself still after the age of 50. I’m sure this book will be a good reminder to not give up on ourselves no matter the age.

Some binged on Netflix through the Covid crisis and I binged on watching Youtube videos of Dominique Sachese!As a former makeup artist, I loved her hands on approach to application and keeping each video influencing and simplified. She’s a wonderful ambassador to all things beautiful!We each struggled through those difficult days of Covid. So many months gone by without seeing a familiar face, uncertainty, health in jeopardy. Anxiety in every aspect of life!After months gone by and studying her videos, I took the time to reinvest in myself, all while leaning on Dominique to inspire me to, “ fake it ‘till we all make it!”It began with a closet makeover, then to a wardrobe makeover, a hair tutorial ( or two!) and then finding myself breathing easier! I was unstoppable!So thank you Dominique, you planted the very needed seeds!Congratulations to Dominique Sachese!You’re a beautiful, bold and blessed woman in every way! What the world need now is more of this rare combination of intellect, beauty and class!Read her book, share it with your daughters, best friend and someone you’d like to say, “thank you” to along the way.

I have to say firstly, that I didn't know who Dominique was until I discovered her Youtube channel (I'm a British ex pat). I find her videos to be inspiring, exciting and fun.I eagerly tune in for every new offering. So I expected much the same from this book, but sadly I feel that it missed the mark for me. I feel like she pulled her punches somewhat. The words felt hollow and rote. Some have said condescending. I don't feel that, but I do feel like the book is one dimensional and doesn't hold my interest. I'd love her to edit it to show some of her effervescent personality and charm. Perhaps it is because she is used to writing concise news segments that cannot waste words, and has written her book in the same regulated manner. It's just not working for me, and I see that others feel the same. Show me the sparkle, the glitter, the fun that is Dominique and not the shadow. I really wish I could have loved it.

I have admired her for quite some time and I was very excited to receive her book to only be disappointed that it came without the book cover. Other than that, it’s a very good read.

Excellent read. Love the author as she shares with her readers different life circumstances that we all face throughout our lives.

This was a fast, great read ! Dominique really makes you feel like anything is possible after you finish reading her book ! Hope she writes another one soon!

I love the way Dominique Sachse instills confidence in women to enable them to slowly make the changes to give them a happier life. She mixes these helpful ideas with her own life's tragedies and triumphs. Even the tiniest change can be the first step to a happier life.

This book is for any woman who believes you can't teach an old dog new tricks. By the third chapter I booked an appointment at the hair salon and purchased a new hairdryer and brush......long overdue.
