Sweet as honey, smooth fuzz, great value
I love the sound of this fuzz. It's so smooth compared to some of the other circuits. Sustain all the way up on this is just fantastic then use the tone to sweep the center of the focused freq. This is a LOUD pedal. I have to keep the volume below 9 o clock and that still gives a boost.IMO very worth the cost, I think this is one of the best tone pedals available for the current price (~49 USD).I pretty much use this on its own, maybe with some chorus in the loop. It is so compressed and so intense that trying to drive anything with it gives very mixed results.Does NOT care about being first on the chain. Takes buffered input and sounds great. I tried it both after buffer and direct from pickup.

Just amazing!
Not the most versatile pedal, but the one thing it does, it does very well. The sound is somewhere between a Russian BM and the Op Amp version. Fuzz meets distortion. It just sounds so good! Also, it's virtually silent. I don't know if it has a noise gate built into the circuit, but I can play single coils on full sustain without any hum. I wish the pedal enclosure was smaller but it's well built.

Nice packaging, good product.
Vintage tone, budget big muff.Sounds better with equalizer, boosting low frequency zone.

Excellent Build Quality, But Not Versatile Enough for Me
The TC Honey Pot is larger and heavier than most similar 3-knob pedals (look up the specs), and the case is impressive with built in rubber feet at each corner of the underside. I liked the soft, silent ON/OFF switch and the large control knobs. But the Tone control on the one I received had some low-level scratchy noise in it throughout its entire rotation when power was ON. I decided to return it, being wary of possible future problems with the tone control. It does put out a wall of thick FUZZ..plenty of volume and gain. But I couldn't get it dialed in for the sound I had hoped to get. I just don't think I'm a Fuzz kind of guy, After I had ordered the Honey Pot, I found out my Son has a Wampler Velvet Fuzz I can borrow anytime, so I didn't need the Honey Pot anyway.

Clean and Creamy
Love this muff style pedal.Gilmour tones for days. You get a nice bit of clean sparkle on top of the violin sound. It's sweet as opposed to gritty, and the tone control is much more forgiving than traditional muffs.I've had 10+ muff circuits and about 100 pedals overall. This is #2 on my muff list, only beat by the EHX Big Muff Wicker which has more gain.

Budget Muff clone
I had EHX Big Muff years ago. I let go it in in a trade and I regretted it ever since. so I decided to take a chance on the Honey Pot Fuzz. because of the low price.I felt if I did not like it I would not lose much. I love it. is it a Big Muff it is close maybe just a tad darker in tone.but it is more quite much less noise than the Muff I had a plus. maybe the new Big Muffs have less noise. I don't know but for the price this is a great alternative a no brainer Stephen Gibson Sr Sharon Pa.

Rock solid
This is the second pedal I've ever bought. After a lot of youtube demo watching, I settled on this one. And I'm not disappointed. Its a nice 'green' fuzz with warm natural sound that is pleasant to my ears. Very little 'velcro' or compressed/bricked sound that is fatiguing to the ears. The sustain knob is great. After about 2-3 o'clock it starts adding a little bit of light distortion. No dead/nasty/unusable spots on any of the knobs. And its built like a tank.
