Offering optimal sonar performance to help you find fish, the built-in Universal Sonar 2 keeps your transducer and wiring completely concealed and protected, running everything through the trolling motor's shaft with shielded connectors. The Ulterra trolling motor combines an indestructible composite shaft with the swept-back flared blades of the Weed less Wedge 2 Prop to power through anything without battery-draining chopping and hacking. It works now after 3 days of my life was wasted on it.
Its an awesome product when working.... installed it took a few hours just doing everything perfect and taking my time. Went to power it up it would not come on. Called minn kota thumbs up to them i spoke to a real person that knew the motor in less than 2 minutes on the phone. We talked I tired things they suggested. Ended up having to take it to a minn kota repair shop. I coluld have returned it but didnt feel like repacking it. So i unistalled it and took it to the shop 45 minute drive they had it for 2 weeks and said the board was bad it took 11 days for them to get the part they said cone back and reinstalled it. Now it works good. At first i had to assit it as it deployed it kept getting stuck and stowing.. i pushed on it as it was deploying and it deployed i did this several times as to break it in i guess now it has worked everytime after that... a ton of work NOT MY FAULT.. but i got er done... damn next time I will buy ut from the trolling motor gyys and have them install it. 3 days of my life ill not get back...

Makes life on the water better
I launch my boat by myself often and with the auto deploy it help alot ( 17' fiberglass bass boat) for a boat this size it does good on flat water but if you plan on being in water with current I would recommend the 36v it pull my boat 0n 10 at about 2.8mph on calm lakes with fully charged batteries it is difficult to load with do to the auto stow

Happy so far hope it holds up for the price
I’ve been very pleased with the performance of this trolling motor so far. It is pricey but for fishing on the river or crappie fishing in some wind the anchor function is awesome. The auto deploy and stow is also a great feature.

If ya gotta a boat that will fit one of these get it there expensive but so worth it !

Dont recommend
Worked great for 4 fishing trips. On the 5th trip it would not deploy. There is absolutely nothing you can do once this happens. You are screwed. Had to take it to a shop that does warranty work which is an hour away from my house. Still have no got it back yet. That much money for a trolling motor you wouldnt think it would break on the 5th time using. Lost my entry fee for the tournament as well as time and money spent. If you buy this I recommend keeping another 24 volt trolling motor in the bed of your truck so you can change it out when it stops working. Not happy with this product at all and dont recommend it. It was really nice to operate when it was working correctly. The place I had to take it to get it worked on said this was by far not the first one that would not deploy. So if you buy it. go ahead and keep your old one or buy another cheaper one to keep as a backup.

My husband LOVES it!
I bought this for my husband for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! Not only does it have the remote stow but he really enjoys the anchor feature. It keeps the boat in place, even in the wind. Not only does he love it, I do too! I no longer worry about him leaning over the front of the boat putting the trolling motor in the water and taking it out!
