ROCKY 1000 Gram Insulated Hunting Boots with 3M Thinsulate

Okay I have not worn these yet but if 25 years of wearing Rockies can tell me anything they should be a good quality and should do what they're supposed to do.

These boots fit well and are comfortable. Also very good design on the sole which provides great traction in the steep terrain where I hunt

Had to give it a 2 because I wasnt able to wear. 2 out of 2 on appearance! The other 3 for performance are unknown.Please read.I bought this a while back while on sale, and it's a GREAT looking boot... just wish I could speak on its performance!I got it, tried it. Thought it fit fine in my house. Then a few months passed and it was time to finally use it, got my thick socks on and started to walk and hoooooly smokes they're tight! Not the sides but the toes... like, unbearable tight. And I've been a size 13 forever, in every kind of shoe (minus some dress shoes).My best guess is, that I truly think this boot might be CUT to a size 13. But I think because of the thinsulate lining it cuts it down inside the boot. Feels more like a 12.5 to me. So, for future buyers I think Rocky makes a good product. But for this boot specifically I'd go a half size up.Unfortunately, when the realization happened it was past the return date. Had to go with a competitor brand at the location sports store because they didn't have the size I needed...Which sucks! But still, a great looking boot... maybe someday I'll give Rocky another shot and try a 14. When the other ones wear out.

Love the boots but stiffer then I expected. Perfect for hunting or crappy weather

Haven't even had these a year, minimal use and one has already ripped at the seam.
