If it's paired you could have hit the stop button (overrides kids ability to move it). However, it's more likely not paired correctly. Look up on Google or YouTube. Replace batteries in remote, and confirm in correctly. Confirm car will drive via gas pedal so you know it's charged. If it still fails you may have a bad remote, or bad receiver. Try a swap for a new remote...
