Bittersweet
Knowing that one of the authors who wrote this, Rick Boatright, just passed away made reading this a bittersweet experience for me.This novel picks up where the short story Dr. Phil Rules the Waves from Grantville Gazette IX left off and fully develops the character of Diane Cheng, medical student and Nurse. This story was a long time coming and resolves events which were begun with the short story Dye Another Day in the Ring Of Fire III anthology published in 2011. In this case the resolution is very satisfactory and I recommend every reader of the 1632 universe of stories adds this to their own collection.

Love the Ring of Fire novels!
In the previous Dr Gribbleflotz novel he appeared to have little ability to associate down time alchemy with uptime chemistry, but here he seems to have a good grasp of the alchemy terms and their relationship with modern, uptime chemistry. Which makes the novel's more exciting moments work so very well. All together a more appealing character, and a great addition to the Ring of Fire saga!Strongly recommend!!

Continuing Adventures of Gribbleflotz
The good doctor continues to learn modern science and sell it to the down time world. This edition has more thrills than usual: high crimes from low confidence men, illness of a king and pregnant wife.As usual a lot of fun.

Not what I expected, and not sure it is is good or not.
Very different from what I expected and it fits the 1632 series but it is kind of fringy... not sure if I would pick up a similar book or not. Until now I've been a huge fan of the series. This one makes me wonder...

Good addition to the Ring of Fire collection
I read 1632 when it came out in 2000 and many of the stories based on Eric Flint's original series. This book, and the humorous subjects it's based upon, fits in nicely. Any Flint fan will enjoy reading it.

Dr. Gribbleflotz does Good
It is good that the Doctor does well. Personally, i have been cheering for him since he met his wife. The Doc is a Stand up type of guy. I would love to read mire?about him.

A Great Homage to Rick Boatright
Well done. A fine readable story. Some people might quibble at the characterization of Dr. Gribbleflotz. He comes off quite differently than in the original stories.

Intense Chemistry.
Chemistry, psychic surgery, and bad guys getting blown up by chemists...fun times.I need to get a newer portable hard drive to download the Gazzettes. :)

Good book
I really like this book series, this one centers around a few side characters that have become very important to the main storyline but need their own books to cover them properly
