CAPACIOUS AND ROBUST, PLENTY OF PADDING ON THE STRAPS AND THE BACK.
I had been looking for a rucksack style work bag for quite a long time. I spend quite a bit of time walking round town centres or in large warehouses and wanted to be able to carry my equipment on my back rather than in a holdall. The rucksack is spacious and and has comfortable straps to go over your shoulders. All compartments open from the top with zips and it has a flat waterproof plastic base to stop it toppling over. The rear compartment is padded and can hold a full sized laptop. The next compartment is double zipped and is ideal for larger items including power tools if required. The compartment after that has small pockets and straps to carry smaller tools such as screw drivers and any other tool you might need. There is a small secure zip up section here too. Finally there is a smaller front compartment. It has large zip tags and plenty of padding on the back. Finally there is a carry handle on top.The materials appear sturdy and the zips appear robust enough to last a reasonable amount of time.If you need to carry tools around then this might be what you are looking for.One minor downside is the weight of the rucksack, it is heavier than the model below it with only one compartment but again if you are carrying work equipment it is relatively negligible. The internal secure zip compartment was missing the zip tab.It isn’t cheap though but it's the best one I have found so far.

The bollocks
The pictures dont do it justice! I was pondering on buying this bag for a while as my old makita holdall was bugged, I fancied a change as my old bag just had one strap and it was fu#king by back up!.This bag is the bollocks it distributes the weight nice and evenly over both shoulders amazingly with all my gear it it still feels light. Seeing most of these bag are designed and reviewed by sparks or plumbers I thought I'd share my review (steel fitter). The back pocket is obviously designed for drawing/note pads but I put my 20m 110 cable in there, next compartment is the biggest and I can get my 110 sds, nut runner, kemi gun and puffer in there perfectly. Pocket after that has all the elastic bits in there to keep all my podgers and spanner up right (saves rummaging at the bottom) I keep ear defs tabs measures and batters in this pocket, then the last pocket keep my pens, note pad, gloves, safty specs.Mate has a Milwaukee version and for near on half of what he paid Stanley piss all over it,

Excellent bag for people with heavy tools
Comparing this to only the other Stanley tool rucksacks, this is the best. You can fit an unbelieveable amount of tools in the pockets provided, I'm talking 25-30KG, without having to lash your tools into the bottom of the bag and emptying it to find all the tools that have made their way to the bottom. Which we all know having these rucksacks is a massive problem, and you always end up having to empty the bag onto the floor! The centre-most pocket with the zip handles is big, however stanley provide no means of a caddy that holds tools. I took the one out of my old stanley bag and this works excellent, it is just a shame they dont give you one. However, they have designed it to be compatible with the combination stoarage boxes, which fit excellent, but dig into your back at the bottom! With a bag brimmed with tools, it's too uncomfortable to use it this way.The straps are rugged, where the lower end Stanley bags come apart at the top from lifting them up, this one is more reinforced and holds up solid. The tape holder on the side doesn't like holding onto a tape measure and generally your tape measure will fall off even if you only catch it lightly. The biggest annoyance of this bag is the fact that it has a plastic base (which is good!), but the design of the bag means that there is a lot of weight in the front of the bag and it doesn't want to stand up on said base and prefers to fall over onto its front. Is it worth paying £55 over some of the cheaper stanley alternatives? YES, but only if you'rein the market for a bag this size. If you only carry a small amount of hand tools, this may be a bit too big.

Terrific value for money
had this 7 months as a work bag. Out ob site every day. Really handy tool pockets kets you arrange your tools how you like. I keep sundries like pencils and screw tips in the front pocket, hand tools in the large pocket and in the main compartment either power tools, or more usually my lunch and waterproofs. Back pockets is good for paperwork and/or laptop. It has great storage capacity. The moulded base is great for outdoor work in the UK when the ground is often damp. No sign of stitching working loose, which is great considering the amount of weight I carry around. The twin zipper handle for the main compartment has become unstiched but this could have been a wayward saw blade in the van. I didn't like the garish yellow zippers at first, but they're handy when in a hurry or when wearing gloves.Downside is that with the main tool compartment being on the front if the bag, is that it weighs the bag fabric down over time to the point where the bag is in danger of toppling, which negates the molded bottom. If the molding came further forward and up, so the weight was transferred inside the molding, it would be much better. That said, it hasn't fallen yet and has served me really well. I know exactly where tools are. Many colleagues are jealous! Considering some of the rivals are £70 and up, this bag is fantastic value for money. Most bags don't last me a year, but this looks like it's going to make it.

Pleased with quality but came defective
Just recieved the item. Impressed with the quality and durability, however came defective. Came with an inside zipper missing rendering inside pocket useless. Once issue is resolved will promptly give 5*
