Excellent product
I was definitely concerned the hitch cover would be cheap or rust within a few weeks, but such is not the case. The cover is very durable, heavy metal, and hasn't rusted at all. We owned it for about a month now with no issues and continues to look great.

Great addition to the truck.
This thing is solid/heavy. The main complaint I noticed when reading the reviews was a rust issue. I sprayed my emblem with a few coats of clear Rust-Oleum before putting it on my truck and it's shining just as bright as when I unpacked it. Would recommend!

Excellent Hitch Cover!!!
Just received this chrome hitch cover in the mail today! To my surprise it is REALLY nice! Very heavy, chrome metal. Nothing flimsy about it and I am very happy with it! Looks great and you will need a pin to keep this cover on.

Nice Hitch Cover
This is a pretty nice hitch cover and it appears to be pretty durable. I was, however, disappointed that there was no protective film to protect the front surface. The UNC logo was pretty scuffed when it arrived. I saw a couple of reviews and pictures that the hitch rusted within a few months so the scuffs were a big concern for rusting. The packaging says to "wash and wax regularly to prevent corrosion". I don't know who does this on a regular basis so I was just planning on applying a clear coat finish to the entire hitch to protect it. But the scuffs in the logo derailed that plan...temporarily. I instead stopped off at my local auto parts store, picked up some 320 grit wet/dry sandpaper, a can of Dupli-Color Perfect Match automotive paint (Light Blue Metalic) and a can of clear coat finish. Sanded out the scuffs, painted the logo (3 coats) and then 4 coats of the clear coat. I love the new look. I considered painting the entire hitch black and the logo blue, but I like the look of the blue logo against the chrome much better.

Terrible for the price
Rusted in less than a month. I live in NC where it is not subjected to road salt. Terrible for the price.
