Does the job so far.
Has been working as it should for the past 3 weeks. Not daily but every weekend. I did also replace the negative and positive battery cables cause of how old everything was so that should’ve helped out as well.

As stated...
This starter works and is easily installed. I did by new heat shield for this starter but it broke. Did not fit this starter. Aside from that, the starter is a great buy.

Worst Starter Ever!
Jan-04-2022: I am not a professional mechanic and work in my garage. I ordered this starter for my 2007 Cadillac Escalade. I was having issues with the starter Bendix not engaging the flywheel. I ordered this AC Delco starter on a Sunday and received it on Tuesday. It was easy to install because I have replaced the starter before and know about the steps. The starter turns faster and engages the flywheel without a problem. The price of the starter at my local Cadillac dealer is $230.00 with the cost of labor $363.00 = Total of $593.00 It was well worth me ordering the part and doing this repair myself.Update Jan-11-2022: Buying this starter was a big mistake. It stop working after 5 days of being installed. I had to have my Escalade towed to the dealer at 10pm at night because it would not start at a cost of $130 for towing. The dealer inspected the cause of no start and found this " 40a fuse was open found starter was internally short to ground causing no crank no start and blown fuse". They installed a new starter and I am no longer having a starter problem. $853.00 total in repair at the dealer including towing. Maybe it was just this started but Buyer Beware!

Bad starter
This was bought in September 2022 and is now a dead starter and to way to return it. I would not recommend this starter nor use online resources with not warranty return, buy local that will offer a warranty.

Fix the problem
My 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500HD now starts after replaced with this starter.
