Well made and comfortable to use
Ive ben promising myself a good quality jig saw for eons, and finally now have this DeWalt. It's perfect for what i need it for, and impressed with the build quality, just like the other DeWalt products I own. Great....10/10

Surprised how good a cordless jigsaw can be
I havn't owned for long, so soon to tell, intial use is very pleasing. I was issued a DeWalt jigsaw 240v several years ago, and was v unhappy with it as i think Bosch rule this class so bought my own. I own a mains Bosch gst 165 which is the best i have ever used, but i am building an 18v DeWalt kit, so purchased this and hope it will serve me well, it seems well built and light, with a light!

Worth the extra cost
The features are top quality. For example, having a brake means your cut is more precise and safer. The power is enough to cope with softwood sleepers, when used alongside quality blades.

This Jigsaw is the one...
Ive used many a jigsaw but none as buttery smooth as this.. It effortsly glides around on workpieces, Varible speed trigger is excellent, I can start a cut with only a fw strokes pm to make sure im lined up before I give it the beans.. Quick lock works a treat, dust blowing keeps the workpiece clear.. Im sure ive used faster cutting jigsaws before, but none of that matters when you get a chance to try one of these, its fast enough for anybody, but more importantly it actually has enormous accuracy and feel.. Thats what counts in a jigsaw.. Others chatter and rumble around.. This sits firm and cuts almost as if its not even using a blade..Very happy with it..
