A simple, but enjoyable first book of nursery rhymes
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this nursery rhyme book for my daughter when she was a few months old. It’s a lovely first introduction to nursery rhymes; it includes many of the classics, with bold and colourful images. I really like the sensory components as well, as has my daughter. She loves poking and scratching the squishy and textured parts of the images. The rounded tabs also make it easy to find the different nursery rhymes, if your child has a particular favourite.We also own a musical nursery rhyme book, and I will say that this one is less popular. It does feel a little boring compared to some of my daughter’s other books. The colours are great, but I feel the content of the illustrations could have been more interesting. The book is big, many may see this as a pro - I have personally found it a little awkward to store. The binding has also unfortunately been a little fragile. My daughter recently managed to bend the cover backwards and pull the inner pages away from the spine. It’s still functioning, but a bit less aesthetically pleasing.

Pros: 5 rhymes, tabs for ease of page turning, clear serif free font for easy reading and a mirror at the end.

Great sturdy book
A great book for young children. Nursery rhymes are great for child development and this book will start them off.
