This snake skin works great on the DD hammock tarp. The snake skin has pockets created by two cinch cords on each end for a total of 4 cinch cords. This gives you two pockets at each end to stow whoopie straps or ridgeline on each end. This makes for a quick setup and pack up. The DD tarp fits in the snake skin with plenty of room to spare. The DD XL Hammock Tarp is nearly 10' x 14' (3 m x 4.5 m). The snake skin has a slick surface making it easy to pack. A good purchase.

I bought the snakskin to use with my Onewind tarp. It makes deploying and collecting the tarp a breeze. The weight is neglibile. If the weather is nice during the day, I take my lines off the stakes and furl the tarp into the snakeskin in seconds, then deploy it when I go to my bed in my hammock at night. I leave my lines attached to the tarp and tey easily slide inside the snakeskin. And all of it fits in the tarp sack. I would highly recommend the snakeskin.

For hammock camping, a tarp sleeve is a must.The sleeve makes quick work of set up and pack up of the tarp. No more folding and rolling and barely being able to get it in the stuff sack on a cold morning with stiff fingers and gloves on. The sleeve also gets the tarp out of the way when not needed, but still hung for quick use if you need it. It's tight with the extra material, but easier to stuff in the sack by just rolling the 'snake' into the bag. The guidelines are easy to find in the ends of the sleeve to tie them off without the tarp flapping in the wind while you're doing it. The only downside I found with this sleeve is that it is one-piece...going all the way across the tarp. It's a bit of a challenge, once you get past half-way, to easily slide the tarp in. There are other sleeves that are 2-piece and that may alleviate that. Not a big deal at all, but worth noting. Definitely something you'll be glad you bought, if you're not using one now.

I got the 2 piece snakeskin to make setting up and taking down my rainfly, this is absolutely the perfect solution and at an extremely affordable price! Just go ahead and get it! I would love if it came in at least 1 more color as I have 2 flys for different purposes

Works great on my 12ft. Tarp. Easy to put on and peel back. Keeps my tarp easily accessible and able to use quickly when needed and works great to keep it out of the way when it's not needed. Makes camp set up and take down easy

Great way to haul your hammock on a backpacking trip, makes setup and taking down camp a breeze. My hammock with bugnet still fits in its carry bag with the sleeve on it.

The media could not be loaded.  Extremely lightweight and easy to use, these will save your rain fly from scraping on the ground when you set it up / take it down. It is also extremely convenient to be able to have your rainfly in a position where it can be set up in 30 seconds but still enjoy the view. Features are well thought out for what it is, when paired with a ridgeline and double-ended stuff sack from the onewind rain fly these make setup and takedown a breeze without anything touching the ground.

Update:Ich habe die Bewertung von 3 auf 4 Sterne angehoben.Der Hersteller hat nach meiner 3 Sternebewertung umgehend Kontakt mit mir aufgenommen und sich für die falschen Gewichtsangaben in der Artikelbeschreibung entschuldigt, sowie diese korrigiert.Ausserdem wurde nochmal nach Fotos zu den leichten Qualitätsmängeln gefragt um dort Optimierungen vorzunehmen.Zusätzlich wurde mir eine Kaufpreisrückerstattung angeboten.Das ist Kundenservice von dem sich andere Firmen noch etwas abschauen können und sollte honoriert werden. Sehr vorbildlich!Originalrezension:Die Snakeskin kam mir schwerer vor, als die angegebenen 48 Gramm.Meine Feinwaage hat das dann auch bestätigt. Die Snakeskin wiegt 77g!Das sind mal eben gute 60% mehr Gewicht!Wer jetzt denkt "sind ja nur 29 Gramm" - im ultralight Bereich kürzen manche Leute ihre Zahnbürstenstiele um 3g zu sparen.Und wenn jedes Ausrüstungsteil 60% mehr wiegt als angegeben ist der Rucksack am Ende eben auch 60% schwerer.Ausserdem lösen sich bei der brandneuen Snakeskin bereits ein paar Fäden.Eher Enttäuschend.

Makes packing away the quite slippy material of the OneWind billow tarp, much easier. Overall, it all works very well. Highly recommended with the 12ft billow tarp.

Brought this with the intention of using it rather than a stuff sack and store it within the sleeve in my bag and it works great. Makes setting up and taking down the tarp a breeze when in a rush if the weather changes or like me you just want everything to take less time. 10/10
