Amazing Detail
Taking the headset out of the box you can immediately feel they're good quality. Then popping them over your head the level of comfort exceeds anything else I've used before - both Razer Kraken TE and Sennheiser HD579 - as the ear cushions are so soft.Compared to the Krakens and 579s these exceed both in terms of sound quality. When playing COD:MW2 I did initially miss the bass and thump of gunfire that the Krakens provided so you made need to tweak your EQ if that's your thing. What they lack in the out-of-the-box bass of the Krakens though is a crazy level of detail. I was startled playing a game of shipment in the rain as my ears were filled with splashing and fizzing raindrops. Of course when the game starts the detail offered also lets you pick out approaching footsteps much better. (I used the Razer THX PC USB dongle for both the Kraken and H6).Music and video are handled as well and are similar in sound to my Sennheiser 579s. The 579s are open back though whereas I went with the closed back H6 Pros so there is a little expected difference between them. On the whole though I wouldn't neccessarily pick one over the other for general use.Sound isolation is pretty good. There is no active noise cancellation but due to a good fit and those lovely ear cushions leakage is minimal and better than the Krakens. The only downside I've come across so far is the cable likes to coil around itself which can be annoying. The cable is also quite short but for my use I actually prefer a short cable. As a parting comment I can add a recommendation from my 10 year old who, when playing Roblox Doors using the H6, was confused as she exclaimed "I can hear things I've never heard before."

Quality.
I bought the closed back version after reading favourable reviews. I'm using them with a series x and plugged into the controller with no amp. I do have the dolby atmos app so I set it to game mode and my first game I played was Halo infinite. As soon as you put the headphones on it makes a nice reassuring fit. I had made sure I had the volume up using nice easy volume control on an ear cup dial. I also made sure I had volume up on sound settings on the actual xbox. The audio quality is phenomenal, first thing I did was fire a rocket launcher and the explosion was amazing, it hit my ears like an artillery shell. The soundstage and detail in sounds from the environment is really good, very immersive. I've seen reviews saying their too quiet on series x and all I can think is they must not have turned volume up. I then tried cyberpunk and again amazing, was hearing sounds that I didn't hear before on the official xbox headphones. I then tried warm setting using dolby atmos app and again I loved the audio. Best headphones I've ever used. Only downside I would say is you probably do need to use them with a sound app as the bass did need a slight boost out the box. These things are that good I'm buying the open back ones next month so I can compare. If you are a gamer and usually don't spend over a hundred pound on headphones buy these ones because your ears will think you spent two hundred pounds on these headphones.

One of the Best.
I have no idea why some people in the review section think these have bad sound. They sound phenomenal and even better if used with an amp/dac. Someone said the cables are fragile? No idea what that's about. They are solid like the rest of the package. Mic is great too. They are on the clampier side but they stretch out the more they are used. For the price they are now (99euro) they are a steal.

Nicely made.
After a few reviews elswhere on teh web I decided to go for these on a Amazon wherehouse deal. Delivered in impecable condition as new.Good points, high qulity construction, flip up/off mic is handy and is the fact its detachable, so if you drop them or some such it (for me at least) just detaches rather than breaks, got to be a plus point, oan the 'trim' disc on teh other earpiece is actually a handy volume control.Downsides, as does get commented on elswhere, they can be a bit tight on your head, but hint, if you place them on a stand, something that keeps the earpieces well seperated (stretching them open somewhat) it tends to weaken/lessen the 'clamping' force, just something to bear in mind. The other potentially negative is that as they are the 'closed' variety they can get warm on the ears, the 'open' variety which I subsequently purchased, do not suffer in the same way.The Closed do provide good sound insulation, a) for the wearer from outside noise, but also b) for those outside from the noise inside!Re the heat one thing I've yet to try is a set of the 'Open' headsets ear pads whih aventillated type may well help keep ears cooler.Other the slight negatives they are a fine set of headphones, although I do find the 'open' variety more of my go to headset, but then the isolation that the 'closed' variety provide is not the priority for me.

Solidly made, good sound quality
Great sound for gaming.Been using these for almost 2 years now, on an Xbox Series X.The build quality is honestly great, not only for the price but just in general. The mic is okay, not amazing, but is fairly clear. The pads are spacious and headband is comfortable. The 2 included cables add nice versatility - use with a console or a PC.

Incredibly comfortable, fantastic sound, strong microphone - recommend EPOS 300 Dac
18 month of daily gaming use and it's been my headphone of choice. I've never had fatigue with it on my head, never had any distortion or audio issues, and the microphone is one of the best I've used on a headset. With a catch - I really recommend pairing with the EPOS GSX 300 Dac to get the absolute best out of this headset.
