I have owned carhartt in larger sizes but lost weight and didn't want to spend a fortune for a "name". Knowing I could return to Amazon if dissatisfied. I ordered this. WOW. nice! great fit! VERY WARM. super comfortable coat. high quality, and for "less than half" than halving a carhartt label to show off that I have money to throw away on trendy fashion names. It's a coat. I'm not that prideful that I need to display name for brands to feel good about myself. I would rather save money and still get the best product. probably made by the same factory.

This Carhartt wannabe is well constructed, warm, durable after 3 years of use. I'd happily buy it again, but it doesn't look like it will ever wear out.

I work on a maintenance crew on a golf course out here in California. We start work at 5 o’clock in the morning so it’s pretty brisk in the summer mornings and during the winter time it starts off in the 40’s.This jacket is lightweight and thick and keeps you very warm but it’s easy to work in. I’ve had it for about a week now and so far I really enjoy it and am satisfied 100%. It says it’s waterproof, but I don’t think I’ll be standing out in the rain wearing it. I got rain gear for that. I highly recommend and for 1/3 of the price of the brand name jackets it is more than worth the money.

I live in Massachusetts. Winters get very cold at times. I'm need a non-bulky, warm jacket. This was to replace a previous one from a different brand that has been really great for me...So far the Moerdeng jacket is about perfect: looks good, warm, fits just right (medium/brown color). It has two inner pockets which I really like. Very pleased so far

I knew I was buying a cheaper Carhartt style jacket but the reviews were good so I decided to try it. First the good, the cotton duck material is solid, the zippers, sizing and design is good, generally happy with this jacket that was half the price of its counterparts. However, this jacket is not flannel lined and definitely not cotton flannel lined. The body is lined in flimsy polyester (think cheap sleeping bag lining) and the sleeves are fortunately a satin material which is soft and comfortable. Definitely not a bad jacket considering it was $50, it will be warm for work, I just don't like being misled.Edit a year or so later:The jacket itself has held up fine, my husband decided it didn't fit long enough and didn't think it was warm enough. He works outside in all weather and lifts his hands above his head a lot. So it became my chore jacket and we spent 4x as much to get him a Duluth that he loves. It's still nice (I struggle with the zipper, its not broken the fit just makes it hard for me to zip) and it was an affordable option until we could get him something better. It's perfectly warm enough for me for the 40 minutes or so I spend outside at a time in the winter.

I have a super picky son. He's 6-3" and about 200 lbs. I got him the 3x for christmas and he loves it. He hasn't had a coat for a long time because he is sensitive to textures and material and he doesn't like to be restricted. He works in a garage and he can move around easily in this staying warm and comfy. He was excited to realize a week into wearing it that there's an inside pocket. He looks great in it and is really pleased with the gift.

Honestly, I got this product on sale for 30-something-dollars for my husband. I'm not sure if I would have bought it for the full $160. Either way, he loves it. He says its warm, it looks and feels like good quality. It does fit a little larger than expected BUT that is a good thing if wearing thick sweaters underneath.

I love my jacket. It is long enough to cover my back and warmer than thought. Sizing is correct too.

I thought I ordered a carharrt but that was a fail on my part for not looking closer. It's very nice for the price regardless! It fits well, maybe more on the bigger size but not awful. The only downfall really I have to say is the zipper is very rough. More wear and tear though I'm sure it will be fine. Shipping was fast!
