DII French Stripe Tabletop Collection Farmhouse Style Dining Table Linen Placemat Set, 13x19, Taupe/Red, 6 Piece

I purchased a set of the placemats and the coordinating napkins, as a wedding gift. I have an embroidery sewing machine and I did a monogram with their “married initials” on the placemats.They turned out GORGEOUS!I seriously am thinking about buying a set and doing it for myself as well. These seem to be well made. I’m jealous of the gift I’m giving away 🤣I expect these will wrinkle horribly when washing, simply because they’re linen... but a quick ironing would probably make them look perfect again!

Great design great price

I bought the taupe and teal placemats and the colors are lovely as is the workmanship but the fabric is so thin and it wrinkles so badly that I will start using it for small kitchen towels. However, it might be fine in a dryer - we line dry our laundry so that might be the issue.

Very pretty but shrink when washed

Beautiful colors. I purchased the nautical blue placemats. Out of the package they were impressive. The size, which I unfortunately didn’t measure before washing, was quite large. The issue is shrinkage. I washed and dried but like many have said they noticeably shrunk. However, the website lists the size as 13x9 and after they shrunk I measured them to be 18.2” x 12.5”...odd. So, the measurements are inaccurate in the description but they are larger than another set of placemats I have so I’m not sure it matters. Figure at some of the brick and mortar stores you’ll pay $4-$5 for a placemat so I think these are a very nice mat and a good deal. I also think one reviewer was correct saying to pull them out of the dryer immediately after drying and you’ll save yourself a lot of ironing. I imagine they may still need a light iron but not too much. I didn’t pull them out right away and they were quite wrinkled. So wrinkle free is an inaccurate description, in my experience.

I really liked the charcoal gray color and the stripes give them an elevated, classy look. They work well with my overall gray and black theme in my dining table.

These beautiful placemats are difficult to clean. We washed according to the directions and they shrank right after getting wet. We bought a second set just to attempt the washing instructions a second time. Same result. Because of the return policy, we have to eat this one.

All of the French stripe products are so well made and so pretty. They are easy care, machine wash and dry, remove immediately and never need to iron. I ordered these placemats to place on a breakfast tray. I folded it double and it’s a perfect fit. Makes laptop eating a real treat.

6pc charcoal black just right to complement my granite and chair of same colour. Received a week earlier than scheduled.

Lovely placemats but note the washing instructions - they are cold wash only so not great for spillages. Washing even at 30 degrees shrinks them.
