Long term review. Good, Simple, Worth it
Purchased in July 2020. It finally died in January 2024. So about 3.5 years of life at $15. Decided to write a long term review first when I stopped back here to reorder a second replacement.Carried debit, credit, and 2 IDs daily. Can fit about 2 cards each pocket, for 6, but that kinda defeats the purpose of having only minimal and essential cards. I rely heavily on my digital wallet last few years but still need to carry cards for registers that aren’t up-to-date and my license.Outside edge frays, but doesn’t get any worse or deeper than that (see photos). Card slots might loosen up a bit but absolutely no danger of cards falling out. Never had it happen. Even with my top layer peeled back halfway (happened this week, reason for replacement) card stayed put. I wouldn’t trust it like that, but regardless, it stayed put. If I really wanted to be cheap, I could just peel that layer off and go super minimal and it wouldn’t look damaged. But this held up in my pocket without issue for 3.5 almost 4 years heavy daily use. I would say good construction and material. Not sure if it damages cards or not, because current bank cards have normal wear and tear and are about to expire themselves and still work, the chips are just trash, but that’s normal. Never loaded up the wallet in a bulky way. Kept to the minimum. In a pinch you can slip a business card, key, or whatever in it so it doesn’t get damaged or lost in your pocket or damage your phone screen.Keeps your pockets flat and your cards together and forces you to carry only what’s necessary for daily use. Never really carried cash, so can’t comment, but I imagine you’d get 2 bills max in there after folding them and sacrificing a card.Just use it the right way and it will hold up. I got $0.01/day of use for a quality item I use heavily everyday.

It took 3yr of abuse like a champ
TL;DRI'm ordering a second one after three years, since I finally figured out how to destroy my first one. Don't stuff yours to bulging and it should last at least that long, probably longer.THE STORYAfter two years of only showing slight cosmetic wear and tear from daily use, I started getting a little adventurous with how much I tried stuffing into this slim little wallet. Just past the three-year mark here, I'm finding that it is actually possible to cause those rock-solid seams to split. The trick was routinely stuffing 5-10 bills in with my standard 7 cards.WHY THIS WALLET IS GREATIt's durable. I've previously used a wallet made from Tyvek, and that things was truly indestructible (no need for replacement even after getting run over by a car). In comparison, Magpul DAKA gets 4/5 for durability. Compared to a conventional wallet, this Magpul deserves 5/5.It's secure, but not excessively grippy. This wallet slides easily enough into pockets, but it has never let a card slip out in three years, even when almost empty. It's tiny. The thickness of the wallet is basically the thickness of what you put inside it. Holding a few cards and folded bills in this wallet feels the about same in your pockets as if you used a paperclip instead. It's simple. It's affordable. Even after wearing my first one out aggressively, the cost came out around $5 a year.PRO TIPIf it starts bulging, you're probably putting too much into it. To keep it in good shape, limit yourself 5-7 cards and 2-4 bills.

Wow.
This wallet is nothing short of amazing. I've had it for almost a year now and it has held up great. I was initially concerned that if I put too many cards into it that it would stretch out, and this hasn't happened. Over time (a week or so) the cards will start to slide up slightly but that is just due to me cramming more cards in than it was designed for. I carry my drivers license, school ID, library card, AAA card, and my credit and debit cards while still having room for my red cross first aid and CPR certifications and some emergency cash. Even when fully loaded this wallet is extremely thin. The material also doesn't hold any water like my old leather wallet did. When it gets wet from sweat or rain I just have to wipe off the material and it is dry again, keeps the contents fairly dry as well! The only caveats, if they even qualify as such, is that bills need to be folded into quarters to fit and it doesn't hold that many bills. Also no space for coins but I keep quarters in my change pocket so that isn't an issue. At the end of the day if you want a super thin, minimalist wallet this is the one for you.

Durable, Slim wallet
My only gripe is that the height needs to be about a 1/4 inch shorter.

So sleek and so practical
I had a tri-fold wallet that was leaving imprints on my pants and it was the worst. I bought this wallet looking for a sleek, faster wallet to grab than the others I’ve had in my past. I also bought it so that when I’m wearing a suit, there is no giant bulge appearing in my pants * ;) * or in my suit jacket. The wallet is made of insanely tough material, I’ve gotten this thing soaking wet on multiple occasions and it’s never molded out of shape or got something that would ruin it like leather would.Although you have to choose between which cards are your most important, It holds about 5 cards in the first pocket and then 2/3 in the second. The back pocket I carry a fishing license, But it can easily hold cash that’s folded.I love this wallet and I’ve gotten people asking “what kind of wallet is that” and “where did I get it”So it’s defienlty making a name for itself but I’m not disappointed in this purchase and I believe neither will you!

Wallet frays over time
I bought this because I love Magpul products and wanted a slim wallet. The wallet is thin enough that it doesn’t take up a lot of space and that gives it a good ease of removal and comfortable fit. My issue is with the durability because after about a couple weeks or so the edges of the wallet started to fray and you could see the thin fibers all around the edge.If you don’t want a frayed wallet I would stay away.
