Better quality material than the original that was all plastic. This has a metal bracket to support the visor, it should not break again. Easy to install with clear instructions that my daughter, who has never done this type of work, was able to follow. Took about five minutes. Not including fetching and putting away tools.

Fit as described. Just need to ensure put in so that visor folds properly.

Both the driver and passenger side original visor brackets became brittle and broke on our 2004 Ford Explorer at different times. When the first one broke I bought both the left and right Dorman visor repair kits at the same time just in case the other failed. I was able to install both of the visor brackets without outside help. However, the technique I used was simply removing the old broken plastic pieces and putting the metal Dorman piece in place and securing it with the screws. I did not use the decorative bracket covers because this would have required a more complicated installation process. The Dorman metal brackets are much more durable than the original plastic ones from Ford.
