Good Product - Well Packaged - Needed Sharpening
Wish I could give 4.5 stars. Good quality product, the steel held a fine edge once I sharpened them, but they were delivered fairly dull and did need to be sharpened before use. Once sharpened, the blades did not dull quickly.Otherwise, the hafts were well set in the handles, of good quality. The blades arrived oiled and individually wrapped, and fit well in the provided carrying roll.

Save your money and buy a better set
Cons: dull, metal rings, not a high quality steel, handles are soft, does not hold sharpness, advertised for beginners but not true.If "for beginners" means "terrible quality tools" then sure.The metal rings are pointless and make the tools hard to get a comfortable grip on. The wood used on the handles are soft and dent easily. The metal is really soft as well. I've already bent 2 chisels and warped 2 others just from simple use. I would say that these tools are almost completely worthless. However if you really sharpen the heck out of them they do a so so job for a short time.My advice is to save your money and get a better higher quality set. High carbon steel is the way to go.

Works great. I use a mallot with them. They did come dull but easy to put an edge on. For the price you can't beat this set. I would buy it again.

Inexcusably poor quality
As soon as we opened the package it was clear that the quality of these chisels was severely lacking. More than half of the blades were crooked or not centered in the handle, with three of them so skewed they were effectively unusable.The blades weren't sharp, which would be excusable on it's own, but the uneven grind on some of the gouges would have meant you would need to sharpen for a *very* long time to get a serviceable edge. The rings towards the base of the handle were loose, which doesn't really matter as the metal was so thin and flimsy that it wouldn't contribute to the strength of the wood anyway.Save your money and buy your next tools from a more reputable maker.

Awesome quility
I got these as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves them! Handles are a tad flimsy but over all they are great tools.
