Q: Will this blade cut through roof tile that is approximately 1/2” thick?

Yes it will.like a hot knife cutting through butter. Get a hydro sponge same kind of sponge tile setters use.get some water on the sponge while your cutting let spong touch the side of the blade as your cutting.What this does is keeps the blade free of the fine dust and will also prevent small chipping of your roof tile..you will be impressed on how well these blades cut..make sure you use the sponge.if u don't what happens is the diamonds on the blade will get clogged up with fine dust and won't cut near as clean. Hope this info helps

The blue blades suck, the edge was chipping off after like4 or 5 cuts. Don’t waste your money. I bought 6 , still have 5. They are dangerous, not worth getting hurt. The red ones are awesome. Buy those Jerry
