Scotte Silver Pipe Screen Filters Steel Screen Ball 20 Packs

I have ordered this same brand pipe screens a few times. This time I got a smaller size even though I clicked on the old link to order. I don't know if it was a bad batch, but I have a pipe full of ash and particles that will take forever to clean out. Not sure you will want to order these unless you needed a smaller size ball for your pipe. I will attach a picture to show how much smaller the new ones are compared to the kind I used to get. Also; I gave three stars because if I mash them against the pipe stem side they work for a little bit....so they aren't completely useless.

I'm amazed at how nit picky some people are about this type product. You can't reasonably expect to take it out of the package and think its going to just drop in and fit perfectly every random pipe. It may take 30 seconds of pinching, squeezing or spreading to fit your particular pipe. That's just part of the process. No big deal. I use a brass or stainless steel mesh screen over the screen ball, so the ball stays relatively clean for a while. For the most part I just replace the mesh screen every few bowls. When you replace the ball, the used one will clean up like new in an overnight soak of alcohol. So they can be used several times before you may need to trash it.I found very small hemostat type pliers from harbor freight to a useful tool for positioning/removing the screen ball (Photos attached). The tips are small enough to easily grip the screen ball. I've looked at all of these screen balls on Amazon, and found these to be the best value. I'm pleased with this purchase, and would buy again.

They are nice but Didn't fit mine... I had to use a screwdriver to make the pit inside to hold the product at all.. so it didn't work for me.. but Might for you. they are packaged nicely and are plenty in a package for the price.. give them a shot!

They fit most bowls fine and keep the tobacco from plugging the stem. They will clog after a few bowls especially if smoked to the bottom but they can be easily cleaned by placing in a small jar and adding soap and water. A good shake every now and then will expedite cleaning. The faucet water jet will remove most, if not all of the residue. Should be left in the soap and water solution at least overnight. A small stiff bristle brush may work faster while under a water stream.

But I had no idea such a thing existed these are incredible it makes for a much more pleasurable smoking experience the "tobacco" can sit at whatever height you prefer and you can use just about you wooden pipe and not getting any ashes as you draw I don't know the proper terminology I just got into fights but I'll tell you this is fantastic measure and order the right size and you'll never be unhappy highly recommended and they're so sturdy I don't think I'll have to but if I ever buy any more screens these will be the ones absolutely no doubt
