For the money can’t beat it ! Solid design not too heavy either. Great for a scale rig . The light bar can be ran off of a 2s lipo or bump your BEC in your esc to 7.4 and run it off the receiver and it’s super bright .

I did some measuring and found this to be the closest to the roof of the SCX10 iii JL. Got it in today and it fits perfectly. The light bar is really bright. Like others stated, a ball end hex will help mounting tremendously. Also, I added a 2mm spacer on each side of the light bar to keep the mounting tabs straight. The wire for the light bar is plenty long enough as well.

Product came undamaged and the light output is bright! Just take your time when installing.

Mounted this roof rack on an Injora Jeep Cherokee body on a TRX4 chassis. Yes, it is relatively large so take measurements. Rack is very rigid and strong. Light bar is stupid bright! Light bar does get pretty warm but not what I consider hot. Also has been subjected to a lot of splashed water and no issues yet. I carry the whole rig (~9lbs) around by the tall front roof rack bar with no noticeable flex. Hardware included is of good quality and not rusting so far.

The media could not be loaded. Wanted a roof rack but was nervous about after market for fit purposes. Ended up buying this rack with a body reamer and installing it myself (no rc experience and wouldn’t write home about my handy man skills). Turned out awesome, looks great and works as intended.

I bought a rubicon jeep shell for my Xmaxx. This thing fits on it perfectly and it looks great.

If you’re not afraid of drawing a couple small holes on the body, it’s not bad holds up pretty well lights pretty bright
