It's very easy to use and I was especially surprised that I didn't need to have it plugged to a power source for it to work. The only problem is, because it's not really recognised by windows my touch screen monitor isn't working through it. I'm sure there is a work around to get it working again, I've just not looked into it. At the moment it works great, and keeps my desk tidy and convenient to swap from my personal laptop to my work laptop without needing to spend 10 minutes sorting out the cables. For the price, I'd say it's worth it. But of there is a genuine one for your computer like HP or Dell, then go for that.

Got this mainly for the ethenet port. I already had a hub but without the ethernet. This has worked great so far, I have a very good and stable wired connection to my laptop now and run 2 additional monitors and a wireless keyboard and mouse.

It doesn't have more than USB, HDMI and ethernet, but for my mom's purposes that's ideal. She can use it with her laptop or with her phone to watch stuff on her TV and control it remotely. There are more expensive wireless options, but those are more likely to confuse her. This is just plug and play.

When my ethernet cable is plugged in to this, the speed maxed out at 45mbps, when I plugged it in directly, it jumped to ~450mpbs (which was possibly capped elsewhere, as I was downloading a file from oneDrive). The usb-c input doesn't pass through anything but power from what I can tell, so I have my usb-c monitor, if I plug this between the monitor and my computer, then I can't use usb devices plugged into the monitor or the monitor itself. Neither are a problem for me (I use a separate usb-c port for the monitor, and ethernet was for emergency use when using it with my mac), but for others to be aware.

PROS: - Lighweight - Works on Mac and PC - Metal casing is sound and looks expensive CONS - Ethernet is 100Mb/s HALF-DUPLEX - Speeds will be maximum at 4Mbps (40MBps) - When connecting the power, my macbook does not manage charging - When using video, ethernet and power the HUB will go to very high temperatures and starts failing (hot to a point you cannot hold it) - when using ethernet, video and connecting with a webcam and headphones connected, you weill get flickers in the video and webcam. Unfit for purpose. CONCLUSION - I would not recommend if you are a power user, but it will be "usable" for light uses and eventual network usage (not build for everyday heavy load).

I thought I was value for money compared to other similar items and it seems to be working well so far. I have been using it for the ethernet mainly but have tested the other usb ports. Hopefully the hdmi will work as well when I use it in hols...

It works fine for anything that's fairly low throughput, such as browsing the internet. As soon as you start using it for something more intensive, such as Teams video calls, the hub appears to overload and fail. You then have to unplug it and plug it back into your laptop, repeat. I have tested without the hub, and teams video calls work fine. It gets quite old when your managers and colleagues keep asking why your connection is dropping out...

My wife uses this as she works from home the laptop only has a USB C socket this allows her to connect a separate monitor, lan cable, mouse and keyboard also her head set. Fantastic!!! No issues.

It’s an adapter, not a spaceship. It’s not fancy or complicated, just does what it is supposed to do, and does it well.

Works great, has all the ports I need and for the price it seems awesome. Only slight complaint I have is that the USB C port is only for power delivery, I knew this going in this is more a general complaint about USB C ports on these kinds of hubs. The USB C port may also not be recognized by your laptop as when I plugged in the charger that came with my laptop into the USB C port on the hub my laptop said it might be slow. I would advise against using it for this anyway however as in general it doesn't seem like the best idea.

Es justo lo que necesitaba, la verdad es que me ha sorprendido por lo bien que cumple su función, iba buscando un puerto ethernet RJ45 gigabit via USB-C 3.2 y al mismo tiempo no perder el puerto ya que tenía un HD Externo vía USB-C y quería poder aprovechar esta conectividad. Y va todo perfecto, el puerto HDMI lo he probado en un monitor 4K y funciona perfectamente en las resoluciones y refrescos que indica, aunque yo no lo uso habitualmente porque uso el del portátil. Los puertos USB-A 3.0 x 3 y USB-A 2.0 x 1 funcionan todos perfectamente, aquí enchufo cascos con micrófono, ratón y teclado manteniendo conversaciones sin cortes ni lags (en algunos HUBS me ha pasado que se pierde la continuidad del audio). El RJ45 tiene los indicadores LED de actividad y conectividad, muy útil en caso de que utilices un portátil y de vez en cuando te muevas entre distintas conexiones, y te indican si el cable y conector están en buen estado. También probé la parte de proveedor de energía para el portátil enchufando la alimentación en el USB-C en vez del disco duro y también funciona, con un cargador de 100W, ya que mi portátil consume lo suyo, aunque como es normal, con este tipo de potencia se calienta un poco el dispositivo, aunque ayuda bastante que el dispositivo esté hecho de aluminio y ayude a disipar además de darle más durabilidad. El cable USB con el que se conecta al PC/Dispositivo se ve robusto y el conector de calidad. Solo espero que me dure, ya que le doy bastante uso y me muevo bastante conectando y desconectando dispositivos.

produto é bom, mas de vez e mquando meu mouse trava e é necessario desplugar e lugar novame .......... ........... O produto esta travando com maior frequencia, deixando de funcionar mouse ou teclado... ou seja não da mais pra utilizar mesmo apos semanas de uso.
