I bought the 3/4 inch wide x 72 inch long tofl strap. can you tell me what oz. leather this is. i need to figure out the right length snaps to use.

The leather itself is soft but it might be too thick for that. I used it for replacing the straps on a woman's purse and it was ideal for that...

Will this hold a crease if fold it in half to make key holders or is it too soft?
