I liked that it functioned well. An excellent replacement for the fire pit.

Perfect replacement for my BBQ-PRO Grill….size, parts, etc. It took less than 3 minutes to install and it ignited a spark right immediately to produce a flame. So far, so good. Hopefully it’ll continue to work for another 7 years + like the original ignitor box.

I was suprise how easy it was to replace. The panel cut was the same size but I had to bend a small thin heat shield a little bit to make it work but that didnt feel like a big deal to me.Make sure you get the right size, I think if you choose one that has the same battery size it should fit? Or I got lucky and it just happened to fit.

Thought I had read od of male threaded piece through bbq was 5/8, after receiving and modifying grill opening I go back to product page and see many 11/16" openings needed. Easy fix though with a Dremel or a file. Also, obviously you need to provide your own battery. Installing battery and screwing on cap, I inadvertently had my hand on the terminals on the back and got a nice little jolt. Somehow the switch (button) got locked on while screwing cap on - I think the spring / conducted that sits in the button was at an angle and not sitting all the way in the push button area - and was making a constant connection. Terminals are so close it was like a little taser. Anyway, it's in and seems to be working.

Very easy to install, a little larger than original one but a little bend of a tab and it fit just fine.

My grill takes a 4 way out igniter but with a AAA battery and not the larger AA battery. Without drilling a larger hole in my grill, I needed the smaller diameter igniter. But all the igniters with 3-4 outs were all the larger AA igniters. Ultimately came to the conclusion that I don't actually need to supply power to all my burners. Just the side burner and one of my main burners. I bought this 2 out igniter and it fits perfect. Easy solution.

I’m not sure what my problem was, but new igniters and this push button solved my problem.

A couple of things. I got this as a replacement for my Char Broil grill. My grill is only about 3 years old, outside of warranty but still young enough to try and repair it. I could not find the exact model for my grill but this one was the closest I could find. Going by the measurements provided I knew this should fit.Two things:1. The measurements provided on the sale page did not match the measurements of the item I received. The good news is that the hole diameter was a match on the grill, so I knew I could make the rest of it fit. I had to bend the metal box that the switch fits in a little bit to make it fit but it fits now. So it's fine.2. The packing of this item was horrible. First the manufacturer only puts this item in a clear plastic bag, it should be in a box. Then amazon, packed the bag, inside of another poly bag, so the part is flopping around in shipment nearly being damaged. Luckily mine was not but this was a poor effort on both parties.In the end the item works, but with some effort and risk. If you can find a similar brand and fit choose otherwise. Really all you need is the proper number of wire connections and a proper hole diameter, everything else is no big deal.
