Yes I cleaned the area that the tape was going to be applied. I used this tape as it was supposedly intended. It didn’t last 3 months before it came off and hanging! I bought Black duck tape and after 6 months it’s still holding!

This tape is very sticky and hard to cut. You need to work with small strips like the instructions state. It holds the underbelly tarp together really good.

I cleaned with just water and let the area dry. Stuck the tape onto my underbelly seem and it appeared to stick well. Looked at it 2 days later and the tape had come loose in several spots. Stuck very well to the screws.I took it all off 2 separate seems and someone suggested Gorilla Tape….still hold after 4 trips and has not come lose in any areas.For what I paid for the tape I expected it to work….

Really good tape to apply to the underbelly of the rv slide. Tape is shiny and smooth. Tape is good as a sealant and also is a great for low friction
