..... regardless of the claims made in product descriptions. "A Newer Version". Newer yes, but improved? NO MANY TIMES OVER. This is by far the best d/w detergent available at least in the U.S. I don't know about European versions of this product (if they do have a better version it wouldn't surprise me since the exceptional products find their way to our supermarket shelves years later to negotiate the regulations and get approvals through the U.S. Government bureaucracy.) I spent many hours researching the product claims in advertisements and Amazon descriptions, Consumer Reports, Bob Vila, and finally a website where comparisons and amounts of each ingredient, what it does, why, and the percentage differences even within the Cascade line of products. The ingredients of this product--AND THIS ONE ONLY--contains an enzyme but in a much higher concentration that gives this pod extra punch with the burned on foods in cooking pans, etc. One time when I could not get this product I had to substitute for another. It doesn't matter what the claims are about which dishwasher is the best (I have JennAir and love them). I thought it was a marketing come-on with my new appliance. FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE OVER THE PAST 3 YEARS OF USING THIS PRODUCT EVEN THE BEST OF DISHWASHERS ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS THE DETERGENT USED. The only thing about this product, and why I gave the scent such a low rating, the perfumed odor upon opening the package nearly "scent" me into a Sinus-itis Arrest. Now, if this product could be manufactured with "Free Scent", it would be even better.
