Umbrella
By way of feedback:1. I was really impressed by how quickly the umbrella arrived, two days, really quickly.2. The box was kind of large for an umbrella, a smaller box would have been more green and save some.3. I thought it would be black but the one I got was green. I would have preferred black but it' not worth the hassle to return it for a black one. I don't recall an option for selecting the color but maybe I missed it. If it's not there they should have a way for customers to select the color.4. I have not used this umbrella in a rain storm yet but I was really impressed at how well it was constructed. Hopefully it will be as strong as it looks.Thank you,Len

Lightweight, compact and sturdy.
I bought the silver one, there were several colors to choose from when I bought it, but it says that the silver one gives extra protection from the sun, so that's the one I bought. It is lightweight, I use it about two hours under the sun, and my arm doesn't hurt because of carrying it. I also used it under the rain and I didn't get wet. Even though there was some wind, it didn't brake. It is compact, I pack it in my back pack in the medium size pocket and it fits very well. I just push one button with my thumb, and it opens fully, I push the same button again and it closes, then I just wrap it and lower it to the compact position, it is easy to use. The close position measures about 12 inches long and about 1 3/4 inches wide.

Very Light Weight, Very Light Duty
It's just an okay umbrella. I bought it based on reviews from another site, and I'll be honest, I'm a little disappointed even though it's pretty much exactly as advertised.Pros: Very lightweight. I'm a public transporation/walking commuter so I wanted a very light umbrella that wouldn't weight me down. It is very light and tucks away without taking up too much space. Disperses water well, doesn't take long to dry out.Cons: Very lightweight. Inverts easily with moderate wind, doesn't create much coverage.Honestly, I think once I'm again in the market for a new umbrella, I'll buy something a bit more substantial and carry a few extra ounces for something that's a bit more heavy duty.

Ok for occasional use
The umbrella works nicely - but is smaller than I would have liked (should have done more research). It will work nicely for a short rainevent, but would not recommend for an all day soaking (too fragile). A little over-priced for what I got. If you want strength, and no foldingability, get a golf umbrella - they are beasts.

It is just a normal umberella. It does not hold up in harsh weather.
I walk half a mile from a parking garage to my office building in Houston, Texas. Anyone who has lived here knows we get the worst rain in the country. I purchased this umbrella in the hopes that it would hold up, given that it is supposed to be designed for harsh weather. In short, it did not. The first time I took the umbrella out in relatively light winds it immediately flipped inside out and was completely ineffective.Having owned the umbrella for over three months now, I can confidently say that this is no better than the $10 umbrellas that you find at your everyday grocery store.

50% heavier than described
Not even close to 7 oz. 11.1 oz without the carrying case!

Wirecutter recommended, worth the money. Works beautifully, and highly wind resistant!
Fabulous umbrella, great opening and closing mechanism, the cover works as intended, and it's easy to carry in a bag or hooked to it. Fits in a coat pocket, too. And, it stands up to breezes! Highly recommended. Earned its rating from The Wirecutter, which is how I found it.

Now I Like Umbrellas
I normally hate umbrellas, but this thing is awesome, it's light weight and small. And as another reviewer mentioned before, I recommend getting a color other than black so no one walks out with your umbrella.
