Word of advice. Buy a 1x10 or 1x12 and install the board to the studs of the wall. Throw out the anchors and then screw them into the board instead of directly into the wall. Also if you need to save space you can hang them much closer to each other if you alternate bikes by front and rear tires. This way you don’t have to worry about The entire width of the handle bars put together. I installed this evening and they came out great! Was able to fit three adult mountain bikes and a Childrens bike on a 57” board. I also put a matching board on the bottom so the tires don’t mark up the wall of the garage.

I just wanted to add my kudos to the other reviews to give the mfg and seller an additional boost. The rack is indeed heavy-duty and mounts easily in drywall with the included fasteners. It holds the bicycle securely. Note that the rear wheel of the bike is intended to sit on the floor so the rack is not supporting much of the bike's weight. What the rack does is hold the bike to the wall so it is out of the way. That said, the build quality is such that if mounted in a stud, the rack could easily support the bike off the floor if that were required. I'm very happy with the purchase and would choose to buy this rack again were I to mount another bike.

Extremely sturdy and space saving for a somewhat narrow Florida garage! I used to use a pulley system that raised and lowered the bike from the ceiling. All that did was deter me from riding my bike for the past 12 years. Now my wife and I can easily get these same 2 bikes out of the retaining hook and in play for a nice 3-5 mile ride whenever we want!

this is sturdy, easy to install and worth the money. It's a wonderful thing to find reliable manufacturers and quality products since Amazon is rife with shoddy products these days!

Sturdy product I'm sure for the right bike it would work well. Just took too much to get the bike up there and felt like I was going to damage the rim and or spokes. But well-built.

Simple installation. Included screws were long enough to reach the studs and create a very sturdy hold. Would not recommend installing into drywall alone! It may work, but chances are the drywall anchors will pull out over time. The design is really good. There was enough clearance to easily place my 29er mountain bike with knobby tires in it. I would recommend installing it with less clearance beneath the bike to the ground. This makes taking the bike on and off the mount a lot easier.

I suggest for the first screw to turn the rack sideways and install the top screw, then rotating then rotate the rack down 90 degrees into the correct position and install the last 3 screws. Overall very easy to install and use. Great rack! I would buy it again if needed.
