It works for a while
Like all part that come from China it uses inferior metal so it will fail at some point. I have used 4 of these so far..replaced them on my mtn bike with hydraulic..they are still on my 20" foldable ebike..I don't go very fast on it..check your cables every couple of days with this caliper because the activation arm bends the cable and it will break where the cable goes into the caliper ..I've had 3 broke cables because of this..jagwire cables so that was 30 bucks shot..there are really good cable activated hydraulic brakes out there but you can get hydraulic for the same money..

Make sure angle and geometry will fit your bike
Have had a couple of issues.#1 the angle that the cable needs to come in is steeper than other brake assemblies so it gets a bit pinched having to curve up. So this reduces the spring back after braking.#2 I can't find any way to adjust how close the heads are to the disk.Hopefully I can make it work despite these challenges.
