Mucros Weavers Trinity Irish Flat Cap Tweed Newsboy Made in Ireland (Trinity 178, Large)

First off - Measure Your Head Before Ordering!!!!!If I had ordered based on my usual hat size I would have gotten too large a cap. Read the description!I measured 60.5 cm and ordered size large. It fits perfect.The quality of the fabric and build are top notch.The look is great. Many caps that I have had have puffs or wrinkles along the side when on the head, not so with this one.I'll be ordering another.

This cap is gorgeous and would have been a nice addition to my husband's others. I bought it as a gift for Christmas because I have trusted this brand in the past. Several years ago, I bought my husband a flat cap by the same brand in an XL, so naturally, I bought an XL with the Trinity Cap. Unfortunately, it was way too large. So, I returned it and exchanged it for a large. When that came in, I was so sure it would be perfect, but it was still too big!!! So, third time is a charm, and I bought the medium. Unfortunately, this cap was way too small!!!Since the flat cap I bought in the past has a bit of elastic inside the band, that is why it worked, but this Trinity Cap being fitted, it is much better to actually provide real hat sizes as opposed to the S,M,L, Xl options. Will I buy Mucros again? Yes, but will be wary about size/fit from now on and the company offering this brand.

My wife is Irish and convinced me to buy a flat cap for an Irish themed photo shoot. I'm glad she did. This cap is perfectly sized, crafted and absolutely drips with quality. I wear it regularly just sitting around the house. Mucros weavers makes a beautiful cap that will be around for years to come. I highly recommend them.

This was bought to replace a Mucros hat I purchased in Ireland at Mucros house. We carefully measured and ordered a medium. The hat that came was way too small!!! Now I am ordering a large. We'll see if that fits. According to another review on the site the sizes are not at all accurate. I have to wonder if this is an authentic Irish product or like a lot of Chinese clothing cut small.

Large fits like an XL. Quality seems ok but it's a bit of an "old country" look as the hat is super wide in the front and almost sits like berett. Return cost me $12 out of pocket so far and the seller wasn't having it on any kinda free return postage ..working it out with Amazon right now.If you dig the old timer look and you guess the size correctly this may be a buy ..but not at fifty bucks.

I had wanted to pick up a nice paddy hat for a while and took a chance on this one and so glad that I did. Right out the box it fit perfectly for me! And even though it's wool, it's much lighter than I expected it to be. Now that it's getting cold outside, it's definitely helping me keep my dome a little warmer, but it's light enough I can wear it all day and not even think about it. Since I got it, it's been on my head almost every day. Great find. As far as fitment goes, I had my wife measure my head and used the sizing chart in the description. Hat fit absolutely perfectly to my head.

This is my 2nd Murcos Weavers flat cap, and the high quality woven wool product is consistent workmanship with the other flat cap I have. Both are XL, a slightly loose fit on me that works on my in-between sized head...I suspect the L would be way too tight. Good denim blue color.

My dad said he requires ONLY specially ordered "lids" (aka hats, caps, tooks), since normal lids are way too small. This Trinity Hat XXL is a perfect fit for even him!! The fabric is excellent, craftsmanship is remarkable. A keepsake. I bought one for every man in my family, and we're all now showing our appreciation for the Isles!
