I've been using Vegesal for over 50 years. It's simply the best all around seasoning there is. ❤❤

The Best!
I've been using VegeSal since the 70s. 50% sea salt the rest is finely ground herbs. Not too herby, just right.

Fantastic Alternative to Salt
I've been using this stuff since I was a kid. On everything from eggs to pasta dishes. It can make even the most bland tasting meals taste good. I use it in many recipes as well, as an alternative to conventional salt. I am thrilled that I can get this on Amazon, as opposed to having to make a special trip to the health food store.

We have used and loved this product many years but it is becoming difficult to find in stores. Thankful to find it here.

Savor the Flavor!
My MIL used this for years and I am so glad I found it again. It gives a great flavor to everything, I use it in place of salt. And it makes the house smell so delicious!

Foodie's Secret--Mellow Flavor at the Shake of a Wrist
If you haven't used Vege-Sal before, you might wonder, why should I? I was skeptical too. Yet another flavored salt. Ho-hum. When I first used Vege-Sal, I was surprised at how flavorful it is and how easy it is to use. Now, after years of using and loving Vege-Sal, it's only reasonable to share my secret. Vege-Sal isn't exactly just flavored salt--it is dried vegetables AND salt--more like dried bouillon. What that means is that when you use Vege-Sal, you are getting a flavor punch with your salt. You end up using less than you would of plain salt. And Vege-Sal gives a mellow injection of vegetable goodness in whatever you are cooking. Especially helpful in soups and stews, rice dishes such as pilaf, jambalaya, paella, and Mexican rice, as well as beans (wait until the beans are cooked through before adding), and even baked goods (brownies, cookies, and cupcakes). I am a foodie and a food blogger and I can honestly say that Vege-Sal is an important part of my arsenal. I keep three salt staples always at the ready: Kosher salt, Himalayan salt, and Vege-Sal. Out of those three, though, the one I am most unhappy when I run out of is, yes, Vege-Sal. It doesn't go bad, so get it in as large a quantity as possible to avoid having to buy it over and over. (Also perfect to take on camping trips--take Vege-Sal, pepper, Spike, olive oil, and sugar. That's all you really need.)Also of note. Not sure why Vege-Sal has the label "Spike." There is an entirely different spice blend called "Spike"--which I love and use often, but that is NOT Vege-Sal. This is confusing and I wish the maker would simply go back to Spike and Vege-Sal as the largest label on the two items.
