WWE: Survivor Series 2016 (DVD)

I decided to pick up Survivor Series 2016 in 2020 for reasons and it’s kind of weird to look at four years on. Don’t get me wrong it is a fantastic show headlined by two fantastic Survivor Series elimination matches featuring teams of RAW and Smackdown superstars for the admittedly very tired “Brand Supremacy” concept. The undercard largely delivers as well featuring Sami Zayn vs. The Miz and a pretty cool RAW vs. Smackdown tag teams match.The only thing that really didn’t click for me was the cruiserweight title match, but those have always been food/water/bathroom break matches for me when I do these DVD watches because there’s nothing particularly special about them in a universe where we can see wrestlers do these same things multiple times a night. But seeing hugger-friendly Bayley in 2016 when she’s a super heel in 2020 is a little jarring or Sami Zayn as a hopeful babyface. It’s definitely a time capsule of sorts for long time WWE fans.Another winner of a show from WWE.

I'm confused, this video says Survivor Series 2016 but while watching it, we seem to be watching match after match from Summer Slam. Is this normal? Is this video showing pieces of both PPV's? I don't understand what's happening, my mother and father and I are all sitting here confused through all of what were seeing because I don't think we've seen a single match that claims to be from Survivor Series, everything just mentions Summer Slam over and over, and the announcers tables even have giant Summer Slam logo's on them. Is there a possibility that we've been given the wrong PPV? I'm asking and hoping that someone can make sense of this because we can't.

this is a must have dvd if you love the battle of the brands in a very long time.

Fantastic Survivor Series. All traditional Survivor Series elimination tag matches were brilliant especially Raw vs Smackdown. Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar could have been better but it was good to see Goldberg kick some ass.
