Poor instructions! Beware all newbies
Absolutely horrible instructions, so small you can’t read them. Poor instruction on how to test, I went to look at sun, they darkened and then while looking at the sun they went back to normal and go blinded. So unhappy, I contacted Deko and heard nothing back. I am new to welding and should not have to work so hard to figure out how to use these.

Super Thin will likely break first time you drop it.
I received my Dekopro welding helmet today. It does what it says it does. The faceshield is light and the head piece is comfortable if not very big so if you have a large head no Bueno.The shield is very flimsy and definitely not made to last. The electronic screen works well but the shield itself is smaller than average and the plastic will likely fracture the first time it falls of the work bench. Like that ever happens.It will be fine for the hobbyist or for a quick job but spend the extra 40 bucks on a decent helmet. It is a shame that the company saved what, $2 on plastic to make it with such thin material.I will keep it because I needed it for the job right away and since I used it and it does what it says.I will not be one of those losers who sends things back all the time just to be cheap.You get what you pay for and I got a cheaply made helmet for a cheap price.

Meh. Not worth it.
Not as good as a cheap department store helmet. Optics don’t show you much of the weld. Not a clear vision of the puddle at all. Sticker falls off, but who cares.. It works consistently and is reliable, it just hinders your sight, it’s a very orange optic, and all in all it stifles your creativity. Not worth it.

One size fits most
Well, I have yet to use it. It’s a fairly light weight plastic. Not sure how long it will stand up to the heat. If you have a head that doesn’t fit in the “one size fits most” ball caps, this helmet fits fits my 8yr old well!
