Assembled in the US means products are made and purchased from China, shipped here and assembled in a US facility. Cheesy way to keep "US" somewhere on the label.

Is this food safe? Heat + fire resistant usually means highly toxic compounds are being released.

How do you store it between uses? With it being really wet will it get moldy?

I have a bakers rack in my outdoor kitchen area. I keep it on the rack upside down so that air gets to it. My kitchen area has a roof, so it doesn’t get additional water. I’ve been using it a couple of months now, and it hasn’t got moldy.
