Repel Lemon Eucalyptus Insect Repellent, 4 Oz.

This is my go to mosquito repellent. I use it in the mountain lakes in the Cascades when I’m dumb enough to go near them in summer.It has a pleasant aroma and more importantly, it’s not full of DEET! DEET melts plastic, not safe for infants, smells terrible, etc.An independent study confirmed my experiences with Repel. It has the same deterrent power of DEET but it’s effective endurance is about 5-10 minutes less than DEET. That’s pretty negligible but I’d rather re-apply Repel sooner/more often than use DEET once.Trust me, my whole family uses this with equal results. It’s really great.

I love this product! Since purchasing and using the mosquitoes don’t touch me! I am very prone to being bitten and wear I live we have mosquitoes almost year round. West Nile virus is prevalent and now the Zika virus is here. I want to use a natural product since I have to have it on all the time. The fragrance is strong, but I love it! And it never damages my clothing. I spray it on my exposed skin and then spray a mist and walk through it so it will get on my clothes. This product has absolutely worked the best for me and while the bottle is small, a little bit goes a long way! Highly recommend!

I'm not sure it lasted an entire 6 hours as claimed, but it lasted a few at least. The scent, though a bit citrusy pungent, is a lot more tolerable than the smell of deet (although I do harbour sentimental memories of deet, but that doesn't really count). Some of the previous reviews have mentioned only to use a little bit. I'm not sure that's the best advice. Be sure to not be too stingy with your application and you'll find that it works just as well as deet, at least for the first 3 or 4 hours. I should also mention that we really only dealt with mosquitoes. We were using it past blackfly season. As for deer/horse flies, we had trouble with a couple, but nothing out of control. To be fair, I'm not sure if this is due to a low number of them, or due to the Repel.

Really likethis product. It really works. I just wish, it would last longer

It's a very strong scent at first, but it works SO WELL. My 15 month old and I both get eaten alive by mosquitos, and I never thought I'd find something we could both use!

The review ratings above do not address the most important thing-EFFECTIVENESS.I used it twice and saw no decrease in mosquito bites. I didn’t continue to use it because it was oily and the smell was not the lemon eucalyptus from a spa but more like a cheap air freshener.

Me gusta porque es facil de usar, da resultados con los mosquitos y otros pequenos insectos, su precio es bajo y el olor no es muy fuerte.

It just works and you don't smell like chemicals. It is actually like a natural cologne.
