This battery case, like all I’ve had so far, is badly let down by the quality of the charge socket. After a few weeks use, the charge cable is not gripped and falls out and in order to power the case up, I’ve had to either wedge in small pieces of card or place a weight on top of the charge plug just so the socket pins make contact. When comparing my iPhone power socket to the battery case’s, I’m able support the iPhone’s weight being dangled upside now, and that is after the plug has been plugged in and out hundreds of times. A battery case is great idea to extend a mobile phone’s usability….but not if it can’t be powered up. I’ve now spent ~£100 on 4 different battery cases - all have had the same problem! It would be great also, if Apple themselves explain why some of their charge sockets are so poor
