This foot makes gathering much easier! Great for making ruffles!
This foot really has saved me quite a bit of time. I can make ruffles so much faster with it. You have to hold the fabric in a very specific way though when sewing. You have to kind of bunch it up on the back and front as you feed it through. If you don't you get minimal gathering and end up with sections that hardly have any and are basically just a straight stitch. You can run it through again though to get more. I'd say practice with it a bit before using it on a project to get a feel for it, but once you get it down it's cute.

This easy to use shirring foot works great! You can even go over it again for extra shirring Or loosen the shirring as long as you remember to leave the tails longer. Very happy with this.

It takes a little bit of getting used to, but it sure beats the heck out of having to pull on threads.
