Good quality and no individual wrappers to contend with
I have some issues with my esophagus, which makes it hard to swallow sometimes. Frequently food cannot get past a very small narrowing and backs up on me, threatening to choke me. I have to use these urgently and far more than I care to admit. As a result, I have had to use a few already. I find them easy to use, but I'm nervous that one might get a hole in it from hanging around in my purse on standby in case of an emergency. They are not individually wrapped, which means that it is ready for me when I need it. I keep one in my purse at all times, and it makes a huge difference in my level of security when going out to eat. It is easy to use, holds a lot, and moderately easy to discretely dispose of. The only other thing I wish it had was a way to secure the top to keep the filled bag from leaking. If you have a medical issue like mine, these are a good buy and should last you quite a while. They are tightly packed together, but can practically explode out of the packaging as you pull one out, so be aware of that. I'm satisfied with this product and pleased that it works as expected.

Super handy, relatively compact, work and seal without issue, great to have bedside
Until recently, I've never been one to think about the need for an emesis bag, but some emergency surgery after a botched upper endoscopy changed my world in many ways. The short story is that I found myself with two IVs in a PICC line in my arm that ran for 6 hours for saline and 12 hours for nutritiion (TNP). After several weeks when i was allowed to start eating soft foods, my body could not tolerate it and I was vomiting almost daily. We had a "tub" from the hospital for such purposes, since moving from the bed to the toilet with two IVs in was not something I could handle in a rush, but the tub has its own issues, particularly if I was alone and it was the middle of the night - I did not want to keep it by the bedside but difficulty in getting to the bathroom was the reason for the tub in the first place, so me taking it to the toilet to dump it at 3 am was not a good option, but I didn't want it sitting out either.Enter the emesis bag. It's smaller than the tub yet holds enough volume that size is not an issue for me at all - and I don't think it would be an issue save for one of those folks who does the hot dog eating and like competitions. The bag is easy to use, does not leak, and is easy to close securely. In my case, this means that, unlike the tub, I do not have to immediately get out of bed (which is still difficult) to dispose of the bag, but can let a sealed bag sit overnight without any significant odor - something that is certainly not the case with an open tub or bucket.I know not everyone needs nor wants to use an emesis bag, but if you are reading this review, you are clearly thinking about it. As a (repeated) user of this emesis bag (it comes in a pack of 48 - I haven't re-used any!) I can highly recommend it as easy to use and the seal is both secure and effective in keeping the odor in the bag.
