Used for work: RV Park Maintenance. Boots are heavier than expected, but they are comfortable, sturdy and waterproof. They have been great on the job, and have surpassed my expectations. I almost returned them at first because they were pretty heavy, but now I'm glad I kept them. They are my every day work boots.

I wanted to wait to I write this review until I had worn the shoes a while. I was looking for a light weight waterproof shoe. After trying many other brands and being disappointed by either a lack of comfort, not truly waterproof, or poor durability I decided to give Rockrooster a try. I have been wearing these shoes for a little over 9 months. I can honestly say they have been the best waterproof hiking shoe I have ever worn. They are so comfortable I wear them daily, rain or shine. The first test of waterproofability was up in Haines Alaska. I spent three weeks building a boat port, it rained almost every day. There was standing water everywhere and a lot of climbing up and down scaffolding. My feet stayed dry and comfortable, so nice! Since then I have worn them in the snow, on hot days, spending long days wearing them working construction. They are holding up great, minimal wear on the soles, and they uppers show virtually no wear. I can highly recommend these shoes, thank you Rockrooster for making such a quality shoe at a reasonable price.

First pair of RockRooster shoes. Love how light and very waterproof. Pretty comfortable for all day concrete floor wear. Had them for about a year, but only wear them for the winter/spring months so i have a solid 8 months on them or so. Overall they have held up well until 2 weeks ago when the stitching blew out on the heel of one. Not rotten so not sure why. Super glued the seam and they are holding up so far. Still waterproof unless i hang out in a deep puddle.

These shoes seem to run a little narrow, even though I ordered a size bigger. I went hiking in them quite a few times, and although they did feel a little tight at first, I just figured they needed to be broken in. They did loosen up a little over time, but in the end I found them to just be overall uncomfortable and still too narrow for my feet. Pretty disappointed. However, I did step in a few puddles and my feet did not get wet, so that’s a plus.

But that is ok for hiking. I'll let you know how that works all day when I get the energy.

Also they stand by their product I never seen a pair of boots that come with a one year warranty awesome job rock rooster. I work in construction so I will be writing an updated review after I’ve worn these for six months or so but I’ve bought expensive $300 Chippewas that didn’t even last me a year that weren’t as comfortable as these so let’s see how they hold up if they do this will be the only brand of boots I ever buy again

After daily use for 2 weeks while cutting and removing logs in and around a stream, I can confidently say that these boots can stand up to the riggers of a hard days work. The only negative is that the waterproofing around the seams started seeping after about 5 days of heavy abuse. Not a lot, but some moisture did enter the boots. That being said the waterproofing is still more than adequate for normal wear. They are very comfortable and supportive. I am very pleased, ill just avoid standing in water for extended periods of time

These boots fit great and were comfortable right out of the box. Within a day of receiving them I felt like they were totally broken in. Not big and clunky like other boots I've had which is nice because I can drive in these without them hanging up under the dash (size 13). They have enough flex in the soles so they don't feel numb on the pedals like other boots. Very happy with them and will be ordering a second set for when these wear out.
