Lifegard Aquatics 1-Inch Slip Bulkhead Fitting

I live on a lake, in a valley surrounded by trees so my dehumidifiers go nonstop in the summer. I have never had one work with a hose for more than a month so I drill a hole in the side of the bucket towards the bottom and install one of these. I have never had one leak in 17 years. They last longer than the dehumidifiers do!

Made exceptionally well. Easy to use. Tighten one quarter of a turn after hand tightening. I used silicone too. Doesn't leak. Good value. Functions as it should.

Has a knuckle for gluing in pieces as needed. Worth every penny, if you can find one of those during the pandemic! The write up could be better and have a better picture set but great item exactly what I ordered and needed.

I put this on the flow in side of my pond skimmer. If we get rain or say the auto fill valve has an issue, the water level will rise to this guy, and flow out and down the pvc pipe to a drainage area. That way the pond doesn't overfill, flooding the yard and putting my koi in danger.The seal works great, no leaks. Exactly what I was looking for.

Cheaper than hardware store and great quality

I needed to seal a clothes washing machine drain pan to a 1" drain pipe in the floor. I cut the threaded neck down and used silicon caulk to seal the thread pipe over the drain pipe, and then tighten the screw down on to the top of the pan to seal it up. Good fit.
