This product is flawless and a little goes a long way. I was hesitant to purchase because looking at tge reviews i didnt see any one with my skin colour.I however decided to try it and i was pleasantly suprised. I also bought primer and the results are flawless. Get your today, wont regret it!

This foundation is my HOLY GRAIL! Not only does this leave my skin non-oily all day, it has amazing coverage and isn’t heavy! I used to buy MAC Studio Fix but honestly it was getting SO pricey for me to use! I am a makeup artist & this is an amazing dupe for the MAC. My clients love the way this looks on their skin, especially for wedding photography! I hope this never goes away because it has been my LIFE SAVER!

*So I found the trick to using this makeup is applying it with a makeup brush. I put a dollop of the foundation in my clean palm and add a drop or two of highlighting liquid to give the makeup some sheen because it’s very flat. I probably would not do that if my skin is very oily. After blending the two in my hand I buff the makeup into my skin. I go pretty heavy as I have freckles and sunspots. I let this layer dry for about 5 minutes and then I repeat. I let this dry and dust on some blush and finishing powder.Funny thing is, I went to Manhattan for an interview so used this makeup and after a short while my interviewer blurted out “I have to say your makeup is flawless. It’s incredible!”And it only cost me a few dollars!This double layer technique made all the difference. I was on a train, walking the city, interviewing, shopping, eating etc and train home. 12 total hours of activity and NO chance for touch-ups and my makeup looked great still when I got home!**********************************************************I have tried three colors from this Rimmel matte line which I’m reviewing here;•Fair Porcelain•Ivory•True Ivory (Some more appropriate name ideas for this color are; Oompa Loompah, Satsuma or MAGA Orange)Lots of pros and cons about this makeup so I’m still on the fence if I will buy again.PROS;-Covers the worst skin flaws better than my concealers do (in my case some stubborn-to-cover sun spots, freckles, blemishes)-even color on skin-lightweight and not greasy on skin even after hours of wear-PriceCONS;-Wears off after about 4 hours (for me, during a northeast American winter so it’s not even a sweat-related wearing down)-while it eventually wears off on my skin’s surface, there is still foundation in each and every pore on my face. It’s a very bad look.-color range is really inconsistent. There is no gradual progression of tone for each color. It goes from Fair Porcelain (which is paper white on my already ridiculously pale skin) to Ivory (a bit dark for my skin but I’m working with it) to True Ivory, which jumps to a completely different color all together. It’s insanely orange like results from a cheap sunless tanner. If you are an Orangutan, True Ivory is your color match.-Because of the cheap price I’m not going to nitpick about “good for your skin” ingredients like most foundations have in them these days but it’s what I like in a foundation. This makeup however, has the most basic of ingredients. As I said, for the price I can deal.So in conclusion, once you can find your color match (a feat in itself) I think this is great for a few hours wear for oily skin. It is very flat in color so I add highlight drops to give it some illumination and because it’s a cold, dry winter here, I put a good moisturizer on underneath.I have no idea how this makeup will behave during summer months here when it’s hot and humid. I’ll try to update.

I've been using this foundation for about 2 years now and it's still my favorite. Even if I try other products I always come back to this. It's the only foundation I've tried that keeps me matte all day without being too drying. The finish is flawless and has an airbrushed look. It definitely provides full coverage even with only using a small amount of product. And it's SO affordable! It's blends very well and doesn't need to be set with powder. I have acne prone skin with noticeable scarring but this covers all that effortlessly when applied with a makeup sponge. I even think it helps to clear my breakups by keeping them dry and not oily. I would not use if you have dry skin. I have normal to oily skin.

I continue to use this foundation as I find it to be the best consistency for me. Colors can be a bit off. This is a bit thick so definitely wet your little foundation sponge thoroughly to apply it.I do find for oily skin it stays matte to a point. After 8 hours or longer it will have a bit of shine, or oily look. Make sure to prime before use. I think for the summer it probably isn't the best foundation, I use it very lightly or sparingly. It can feel greasy or smear/transfer to clothing after a few hours but I am not sure if that can be do to oily skin.Coverage is definitely great. I don't pack it on, I never notice it creasing either.Pretty quick delivery, nicely packaged in plastic wrap.

This is a FULL COVERAGE matte finish. I love it. I have complex skin where it is super oily in one spot and super dry and flakey in another. I use this as my go to for 5 years now and refer it to any one who asks me what they should buy. It is also buildable. Works best on me when I put it in a old compressed face powder container to let it get some air. Drying it out a little for me really works well. I also prefer applying with the Real Techniques Anti-Microbial Miracle Complexion Sponge. I noticed using a complexion brush would leave brush strokes and other markings if you also dabbed using the brush. But over all this is a 5 star full coverage foundation. It isn't sheer because that would be pointless and it isn't lightweight. You can feel that you are wearing makeup but that is how every full coverage cream foundation I have ever purchased has felt. So for 5$.... Buy it! I don't think you would regret it. Just play around with it a little. If it is too thick, maybe using a lightly damp sponge might help you apply it. I also go out dancing, used to be almost every weekend til I had our son, and would go to the gym in this foundation after work. It held up for me!!! And I used to sweat like crazy

Let me start by saying I am a total beauty product junkie. When it comes to foundation I've tried A LOT of expensive brands... Dior, Lancome, Chanel, Givenchy etc. etc. Last year I decided to try a cheaper one for Glastonbury, in case it got lost in a field / down a long drop like so many of my possessions previously. After much deliberation I chose Rimmel's Wake Me Up foundation, which I fell in love with and have been using until now. The only slight issue I've had is a shiny t zone later in the day, which led me to this, Rimmel's Stay Matte foundation.Firstly, I like the fact it comes in a squeezy tube. Yes, of course it doesn't look as nice as some of the fancy glass bottles, but it is so much easier to get the last out when there's not much left. When it comes to the foundation itself, on first glance I wasn't quite sure what to make of the consistency and appearance. As other reviewers have said, it's like a paste, which doesn't sound that appealing, but honestly it's great!I use a foundation brush and it goes on like silk with a lovely velvety finish. It feels light on the skin, it's easy to blend and it gives really REALLY good coverage without looking like you're The Mask. It maintains a matte appearance throughout the day and I can't emphasis enough what a smooth finish it gives, it glides over enlarged pores and covers any little imperfections.I liken it to wall filler, which smooths over cracks and wear and tear, but I'm not sure I'm doing myself or the foundation any favours with that analogy. Basically it's a great product, superb value at around 6 quid and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I have naturally oily and porous skin, in my teens i suffered a lot with Acne, although this tube has changed in appearance i do remember Rimmel stay matte being my go to, budget friendly foundation and it is good at covering acne and can also be layered up. I have included a photo, bare skin before and just this foundation in Ivory after. I like to wear face powder on top of this foundation too, i feel it goes well with this foundation and provides even more coverage and a better, long lasting matte effect.I often choose this foundation in favor of more expensive foundations since a more expensive price doesn't always mean better quality, at least not in my case.This is my all time favourite foundation and the Ivory colour matches perfectly to my skin tone, neither too pale nor too dark. I think a good tip i've learnt is when applying to smudge it down into the neck area too, this prevents any obvious foundation lines.From being a spotty teenager to now, in my early 30s this has always been my go to foundation, i've tried others, they've been a little hit and miss for me, but this one has never let me down, budget friendly, great coverage and feels lovely on my skin. I love Rimmel Stay Matte.

Really impressed with this foundation. I have been looking for a good coverage one for a while, tried so many makes (including more expensive ones, such as MAC) and they've done an okay job but not quite to my satisfaction. I found myself having to use quite a lot to get decent coverage on some days. I've also found some to be oily and not staying on the skin well. So it hight I'd give this a try as it seemed to have good reviews and I can honestly say its the best foundation I've used in I don't know how many years! I buy two shades I every foundation I buy as I like to tan myself but I'm naturally pale - that way I can go from pale to tanned and anywhere in between on whatever day I am in my tanning cycle haha. Sometimes the colours don't completely match my tone. Again, this foundation does that perfectly. I bought ivory and beige and mixed them up as I'm a light tan at the moment, and it looks lovely and my skin looks flawless, despite having a few spots! I will definitely be using this product as long as it is out!

Loved this for how easily it goes on and blends in but especially for how it feels like as a feather on my skin…I don’t feel caked in make up as I often do with foundation. And it gives great coverage for a long time. Delighted. This will be my new go-to foundation; and at a fraction of the price I’ve been paying with other brands.

Not so sure on this for my skin. Makes it look caked. For example the foundation gets into your pores and is very noticeable. May look better on someone else and it’s just not the right one for me. Or I may not have used it correctly, as I don’t use make up brushes.So if you want to buy this I’d give it a try based on the fact it didn’t seem to match my skin tone so think that’s the issue.
